This is only semi S&B related, but has anyone done b-pics? I have a session in 2 weeks as an anniversary gift for H. I have a 6 month old and have been working out super hard, and I'm pretty happy with my body. But all of a sudden, I'm really nervous about the shoot. If you've done b pics, any advice? And please tell me your H liked them--I think that's my biggest fear, that he'll laugh or something. Thanks!
I'll be super honest in that H liked them, but not as much as I did. I did them more for me than I did for him. They are, hands down, the best pictures I've ever had taken of myself.
Do what makes YOU feel sexy. Not what your think your H will like. You'll have more fun, and get better pictures.
I had them done and I agree with PP my H definitely liked them, but I think I have looked at them more since they were given to him then he has. I just feel so sexy in them and plan on doing them again in a few years. If you want wear an outfit or two that you think he might like, but also wear some things that make you feel good. Have a glass or two of wine before if you are really nervous and your photog should know this, but start with the least revealing and work your way to most revealing. After the first outfit was done and my photog showed me what she had I felt so great I was ready to strip down with no problems.
I did them too!! I was super nervous before hand, but my photog was awesome and made me feel great. It also helped that I had my hair and makeup done by 2 super fun ladies who made me feel like a million bucks. I had bought a couple of new outfits, and also brought a couple of H's faves. I think I brought 1 or 2 more outfits than I needed, but I liked having the options just in case depending on how I was feeling.
I think H liked them, but I don't know how often he actually looks at them. I agree with PPs in that I have probably looked at them more than he has haha.
I've definitely looked at my pictures more than my husband has. But overall, I was really happy with them. I was in probably the best shape of my life but still not super confident when I took them. My photographer made me feel really comfortable and made sure that I was always positioned to look the best I could.
Omigosh it was sooo much fun! Same story here- I have looked at myself in those pics so much. I think DH just looked that first day I brought them home.
Def don't be nervous. But I understand- I totally was but the photographer was so easy to work with and she was like a little cheerleader for me telling me to pop this and hold that.
Honestly I'm about 5-10 pounds heavier than my best when I took them but I still love the pics. They were amazing and really brings perspective to all the model pics you see in magazines.
