I'm planning ahead, LOL. I need opaque tights for work this winter that come in fun colors and will be warm-ish (I'm in the south) as well as durable. I'm considering both of these (links below). Other recs?
A little trick I learned from someone- I layer tights all the time in the winter for warmth, for aesthetics, and just to make them look super opaque. I will do a colored pair like burgundy under a black open weave style for a subtle color pop. Or I will do black under another color like purple or burgundy to make them darker or more opaque. Or I will do a tone on tone- a pattern tight over a solid opaque tight just for texture.
It's seriously my favorite accessory in the winter. Pants and closed toed shoes get boring really fast!
Fleece lined sounds awesome. There is a fine line between warm and too hot though, b/c here in TX places can be overly heated indoors. I love the idea of layering tights-I'll have to try that. Thanks!
I like American Apparel's opaque tights. They come in LOTS of colors and hold up well through LOTS of wear (I rarely wear pants in the winter to work).
I hate DKNY for tights cuz they tend to fall apart on my too easily.
Ditto Hue. I've also bought some frenchi ones from BP in Nordstrom that are SUPER soft and have held up well too.
