Today we have a photographer on site to take headshots of us for client meetings.
Gah I've never felt so much pressure to have my makeup be perfect before! I think I overdid it because my face is really pink and my neck is more yellow (naturally). Grr
Probably not the best day to contour more heavily than ever before, either. I'm going to look like a hot mess and this photo will haunt me for the next year or two.
I feel your pain. I got my headshot taken about 2 months into the OG MUT and it turned out....ok. There was this whole drama where I'd also signed up to do some market research thing that required me to use a mystery foundation that turned out to be SPARKLY like a damn Twilight Vampire. And then I touched up my blush in the bathroom with it's TERRIBLE lighting and then the picture was taken in natural light and I look a wee bit like a clown. Definitely overdid it.
oh well. Hopefully they redo the headshots sometime before I retire.

It's on a white background, and I'm super pale. I hope this countouring doesn't make me look like a drag queen - or the other extreme, I don't fade into the background!
Sigh. I guess I can't keep on using my engagement picture forever. (It's just of me, but I thought a pretty good one.)
I always go heavier on the contouring and really everything for professional photos, but with a white background that doesn't sound the most flattering.

So I got them taken and they don't look too terrible. (In their defense, the white does look really great when we put it in our linked in profiles, in presentations, or in proposals.)
My makeup looked ok, it was my jowels that struck me. Yikes!

wawa, I require my peeps to get new photos every five years or if they visibly change significantly (lose a lot of weight whatev'). Just let your marketing staff know you want a new headshot post partum.
