Here is someone who doesn't say "it's the thought that counts". www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/article/Mother-s-Day-slaying-blamed-on-cheap-gift-3559483.php#photo-2938339 The 20 year old woman below received a walmart card and flowers for mothers' day from her boyfriend and father of her two kids. She wanted a more expensive gift, they argued, and she stabbed him fatally and he died. She is still being held on bond for felony murder.

what? If she didn't succeed, she was doing it wrong.

In this case I think he had tried to kill her several times before.. and she was really just defending herself. I'm hoping that they give her some leniency.

Oh my! I'm guessing she didn't have a gun? If my husband had tried to kill me several times you better believe I'd be packing just out of paranoia.

I hope things work out for her so she can return to her normal life, including making sure you have plenty of napkins.
