Oh right! I think we talked about this before. I went to high school with N I can't believe the babies are 6 months already!
You're right we did talk about this before, such a small world!

No real plans. Trying to figure out activities to do with a 2.5 yr old all weekend. Husband is away on a golf trip until Sunday. We might try to go to the zoo or something. At some point I need to grocery shop and make a few returns.
I didn't realize until yesterday this is a long weekend in the U.K. Missed getaway opportunity Although, to be honest, I should be working on moving and storage research since DH can't do it all by himself. Being a grownup sucks sometimes.
I'll play volleyball tomorrow, but no real plans otherwise. Lame.
Aww, bummer! You were in Paris this week though so I can't feel too bad for you Good luck with the moving/storage stuff!
That's right! How was Paris, RockNVoll? Did you end up doing anything in particular with your free time? A coworker of mine was in Paris and Geneva over the last week or so, and she said the weather was amazing. She actually has a bit of a tan because she was walking everywhere.
vtdiamond, how are those babies six months old already! I hope you're all doing well!
scm1011, thanks for thinking of me. I still have a ways to go, though- I'm not due until June 22nd. I think noodleoo is due in the next couple of weeks. So soon! I'm mostly feeling ok, just tired a lot. We are mostly ready for him to show up - the major stuff is all at the house, in various states of assembly, and I will likely pack a bag soon just because I'm a known crazy person. They plan to induce me during week 39, so I've still got a few more weeks of work. Thankfully, we have super generous maternity leave here, and I can take up to two weeks before my due date off as PTO. I have about 5 weeks of sick time stored up, so I'll just dig into that and will likely wrap up here around June 8th. It'll be here before I know it, I'm sure.
As for weekend plans, tonight, my husband is meeting me for dinner and helping me bring some stuff over to our housing for the program I have starting on Sunday. Tomorrow, I have a mani-pedi booked in the morning, then we have to run around and do some errands. Sunday, I've got the morning free, but have to be at work around 2:30 or so. Thankfully, the faculty chair is not one for hanging around, so I should be out of here by 7 at the very latest. I hope.
Hi Guys! scm1011, 5kcandlesinthewind: you guys are right, I'm due on 5/16! I was so sure I would go early because my sister and mom had all their babies early, but no end in sight yet. I'll be 38 weeks tomrrow and she's pretty much welcome to show up at any time. Although I'm still not ready for the whole labor/delivery thing. I can't believe it is coming up so soon...
We're mostly ready although I am SO ready to be done with work. The maternity leave here is pretty good, but I guess everyone generally works right up until their due date which sucks. I'm so tired, achy and swollen that I realy wish I was done by now. I'm planning for next friday to be my last day, I'll use 1 week of PTO to get to my due date and I hope I have the baby by then or else it will reduce my total leave time. But whatever, I don't care anymore, I just want to be done!
We have a quiet weekend planned. Dinner with friends on Sat and other than that, just continueing to get the house ready. We have all the essentials and I have half a hospital bag packed. I probably should try to finish that this weekend! I'm so excited that it might finally warm up!

Today I think I'm getting out of work early. I'm not sure but I'm not going to question it too much.
Tomorrow I have a 5k that I'm working into my 11 mile run for the weekend. Tomorrow night dinner at my dad's and Sunday lunch with some friends. Other than that working on our long list of stuff to do around the house.
I AM SO JEALOUS. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SAN FRANCISCO I WANT TO GO WITH YOUUUUUU.
What? No. San Francisco is amazing!
Of course, I don't watch The Walking Dead.
I am going for work so its not nearly as exciting. I have been gone non stop so I would rather stay home. Though normally I totally agree and SF is great:)

I hope you're still enjoying work overall. Weren't you also looking at moving? Did you find a new place? I can't believe we never got together while we lived in the same town.
Where in S.F. will you be staying? Need any restaurant recs? Mine are dated but I do know a handful of good options still!
We ended up re-signing our lease at our current place. The idea of finding a new place and moving before the baby gets here started to overwhelm me so we decided to stay put for atleast another year. I will be going remote next Spring and we plan on moving to RI at that point:)
I am staying near the Moscone Center which is also right by our SF office. I have dinner plans some nights but have 2 open evenings and always love recs!
As seems to be the trend for me I will be working this weekend. Though the work is for the Sorority this time. I am driving out to Albany today to establish a new colony on their campus after getting the OK from the school. Luckily it's a great bunch of women I'm working with so it won't be bad. And I am super excited for the glorious weather that is headed our way starting Sunday. I am so ready for 70+ weather!!
H wants to see the new Avengers movie Sunday evening but I don't know if we'll be able to get tickets at this point since it's opening weekend.
We went to the Red Sox game yesterday and it was gorgeous! So much sun. I volunteered at the Green strides half in NA this morning and had a blast! This afternoon we went to a christening on the South Shore. We are all exhausted.
We ended up going to L'Andana in Burlington for brunch on Sunday and it was SOOOO wonderful! It was the best restuarant experience I've had in a long time. The meal was so amazing and really reasonably priced. I'm so bummed we've never gone before and just now discovered it. I'm hoping maybe we can go again while the baby is little and quiet. Such a great restaurant!
I'm also loving the beautiful weather these days! Today is so perfect out, I wish I wasn't at work. But is my last week so I can't complain too much!
