When I started running again in December 2013 I was fitted in the kayano 19's which I loved. I wore the first pair out and managed to snag another pair that lasted me until recently. Since I couldn't find anymore 19's in my size I ordered the 21's in the same size as my 19's and I hate them. The only way I can describe it is they feel like they are smaller that the 19's and something is not working with the heel area. I have worn them for shorter runs and they were okay, but I did a longer run 9.25 miles) and the sneakers felt so tight and by the time I got home I was limping because my heels were rubbed raw (I have my sneaker laced to sure my heel). Does anyone else feel like this? My run was crappy because I ended up walking more than normal because my feet hurt so bad.
TIA!
ps- bonus of anyone can recommend an alternative for a stability plus sneaker.
I skipped 19 and 20. Ive been in the 21s for a couple weeks and yes, im in a totaly different size. Othrr than that, they feel similar to 18s. In that, my achilles never feels great afterwards, but is fine the next day.
