We went to Sesame Place yesterday and that place is crawling with PG ladies. It was a little depressing. That's the thing with doing kid stuff. I'm having a great time with DD and just focusing on her and not thinking about IF and then all these PG people show up and I get all bitter. the Children's Museum is the same thing. It doesn't ruin the day, I'm easily able to go back to having fun, but still it kinda' sucks.
Yesterday I was driving DD to her dance rehearsal and misjudged a turn and got in an accident. luckily everyone is okay, but I'm so annoyed at myself. DD was an angel the whole time. Even the cop commented about how great she did.
Oh no! We're going to Sesame Place soon too... I bought tix on Black Friday for super cheap. I can only handle pregnant women in small doses (or preferably not at all lately!!!)
DS has been talking about babies in tummies recently. His classmate is going to have a sibling; maybe that's where it came from. I know a lot of you on here have talked about the pain of your kids asking for siblings, and while I could sympathize I couldn't relate. Now DS likes to stick his doll up my shirt and talk to the "baby" and he's told me he wants a sister. I imagine it only gets worse with age.
Oh no, bronxgirl! I'm sorry about the accident, but glad you're all okay.
The pregnant thing is so hard. It's that seeing red cars phenomenon - we want to be pregnant, so we see pregnant people everywhere. I'm having an especially hard time at DS's school. Lots of classmates with pregnant moms, ugh. I'll go to races, thinking at least they should be relatively safe, and then see smug ladies in their 'running for two' tanks, holding their bellies. Yup, I'm doing great! Haha.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
DS asks about a baby in my tummy and if I'm super bloated, he'll get excited and say there's one in there. It's pretty heartbreaking but on the plus side, I know he'll be excited to have a sibling whenever it does happen.
We are taking DD to Sesame Street live this weekend, I hope she enjoys it!
Has anyone ordered meds from a mail order pharmacy? The nurse from the RE said my insurance might make us do that. I am waiting to hear back tomorrow once they get ahold of the woman who does finances there. I am supposed to start lupron on the 16th and I'm worried I won't be able to get it in time if we do it by mail?
DD keeps saying she wants a baby sister and its breaking my heart I really hope we can give her one (or a brother, of course)!
babyrn, I've always used mail order pharmacy for IF meds. I used Freedom for all but my current cycle since my insurance changed, and they were awesome. They will overnight meds and at one point I even got same-day via courier for no extra charge.

babyrn - I get all my meds from Cigna pharmacy online. They'll overnight everything... I've been on the phone with them at 8pm and gotten the meds at 11am the next morning!
we have two people in our super small office now pregnant...it's a constant reminder i am not. most days i do ok, but somedays it makes me so sad.
i am really wishing we had started ttc earlier. it took us a year the first time around, so you would think we would have prepared for a similar timeline...but nope. we thought maybe this time it would be different. ugh. at this rate a baby will be 6-7 years younger than my twins and that is making me sad that there will be such a large age gap..they won't ever go to the same schools...etc...etc...

Did you used to get your Rx in person? I've only ever done mail order from specialty pharmacies. I've used a bunch: Freedom, Alexander's Twin, MDR, and Walgreens. I've only had issues during freak storms, otherwise overnight shipping is the standard.
Funny, when I wasn't ttc I never noticed pregnant ladies, but now I see them everywhere...my sister is due next month and luckily I don't have any hurt feelings when I see her, I'm really excited for another nephew...I think seeing BFPs posted are harder than anything for me. When she found out she was pregnant he told her that she would have a boy & I would have a girl....so far he's half right...just waiting on the other half
Sometimes I get a little nervous about all these supplements/meds I'm putting in my body - I was the person who barely used Advil and now I'm popping a handful of pills daily - DHEA, CoQ10, PNV, VitD, and now Femera and soon Gonal-f - yikes!!

Yes, last time I got all my meds in person. I've switched insurances now so they don't know if/what mine will cover this time. Our RE uses a smaller local pharmacy that is amazing. They deal with tons of IF meds and sit down with you to go over every detail. She even personally delivered a med to my house (and we live over 30 min away) because they didn't have one the day I went in and she wanted to make sure I got it.
I didn't hear back from them today so I guess I better call tomorrow to figure it out. Glad to know its easy to get them overnight!
