You guys. Tell me one more time that it's fine I haven't done ANYTHING all week. I'm panicking again. Self doubt and loathing and considering running a couple miles. TELL ME NOT TO.
wambam you are fine, this week is your taper. When I'm feeling antsy in the last week or so leading to a race I try to remember that my training is finished. I'm not going to get faster or lose my fitness in those 7 days.

I know. Even this FL girl sucks wind in 90+% humidity, cold or not. I think it's lingering around from all of the rain on Friday. By mid-day it's dropping to, like, 50%. I'm just going to shoot for some "Hey, wouldn't it be great if this was my Boston pace!" miles.
wambam, you're fine. Don't sweat it. All will be well.
What?? No. It'll feel like 30 what? Sea level will really help!
50 degrees in CO (not humid) = nice day. 50 degrees with 100% humidity in Houston (all I have to compare to) = miserable biting cold
Oh, no....that's not my experience. I just did a run in mid-50s and high humidity & I was soaked with sweat. Do not overdress. You will be warm.
ETA: It will feel cold at first, but once you get moving, you will heat up fast. When you stop, you'll be cold again, but do not overdress for the running part.
Right - I'm just about done packing and it's after 11pm. I'm going to bed. See you lovely people stateside tomorrow!! Thanks again for letting me join this GTG. Cannot wait to meet you all!

This is my favorite part of gtgs, when everyone starts leaving their respective destinations.

I just folded a bunch of laundry and I'm about to start dinner. The only thing I have packed is my old lady pill holder with all of my prescriptions. Fml. Lol. I'm the worst at packing, I usually do it so last minute. I did at least make a list at work today!
I can try, but I think it's really unlikely. It's just shy of a 6 hour drive for me, and I need to navigate Atlanta traffic. If I leave earlier I'll screw myself in traffic.
I slept like crap last night and got up at 3am. Leaving for the airport in about 40 min, wheeeee! I am going to crash at grandma o'clock tonight I just know it. Hopefully I can catch some zzz's on the plane.
I'm on the plane! My pre-flight run was aborted as the pavements were like an ice rink, so I've done only a slow 6 mile jog this week. Oh dear! Also, crushed corn toblerone eluded me; could be only available on the continent. I got other varieties though. See you soon!!
