I was just stopping here to say the same thing. I am very, very happy it's the weekend.
It's been gorgeous this week. My aunt offered to take our daughter for the night tonight so we have the opportunity to go out. The only issue is, is that we finally got our vanity in for the bathroom (after 6 weeks of waiting, when it should've been 4), so now we more or less have to choose between going out and installing our vanity. We've had a torn up bathroom for over a month now, so I really want to have it almost complete, but I also REALLY want to go out too.
Tough choice, donthasslethehoff. Does it require both of you to get the vanity installed? If not, I'd favor going out tonight since you have a babysitter. When would you next have a chance to install the vanity?
I'm jealous of your nice weather. It's been up and down here. I have to say, though, that in general the weather in London is not nearly as bad as I feared (*knock on wood!*).
It will probably take less than half the time it would take if we were both doing it (unless we get the vanity in the bathroom and realize we have to move plumbing, which is a possibility). If that's the case, we're definitely going out and calling a plumber in the morning.
My compromise is getting the vanity into the bathroom tonight (it's currently in our garage), putting it where it's supposed to go, and seeing if the plumbing is in the right place. If it is, I think we could get away with hooking up the water and faucet tonight, and then trying to get our kid sleeping early another night this weekend, and trying to finish it up.
I'm running a Ragnar Relay on Cape Cod today into tomorrow. Luckily my three legs have been downgraded to only 9.7 miles because I have not been up for running as much since I got pregnant.
Sunday we'll be celebrating Mother's Day with both families.
I'e been loving this weather. I just got in my last big training run for my half in two weeks. Absolutely nailed it, 13.1 miles in 1:58:01. So that means I can run a sub-2hour half right?
DH is getting in from Germany shortly but I'm headed off to work. Tonight probably just watching some tv and grilling dinner, DH wasn't supposed to be home until almost midnight so I guess I'm stopping for food on the way home.
Tomorrow I'm flying down to NJ to meet up with a bunch of girls I still keep in touch with from TK from my month board. Sunday flying home then headed to DH's grandmother's house for a nice afternoon, probably grilling.
Tomorrow I'm going to a GTG in Providence with some of the MMM ladies plus LoveTrains! Sunday we're going to Boston Chops for Mother's Day brunch then I'm hoping to go get a mani/pedi in the afternoon.
Tonight is going to be a quiet night at home after a hectic week.
Tomorrow my MOMS group is having a pre-Mother's Day breakfast, then I'm scooping S and heading to Providence
Sunday we're going to do a picnic lunch at a local park, then I have a massage in the afternoon. DH has bought me at least one of my requested Mother's Day gifts, and S picked out a thing or 2. It's a new tradition that she gets ideas in her head of what we want/need for holidays, and we take her shopping for them. I can't wait to see what she cooked up this time.
Saturday I am working, it's the big move out day for anyone not graduating or participating in commencement so it's all hands on deck. Plus we have our staff appreciation banquet after. H wants to do fondue for dinner so we may be making a reservation for melting pot.
Sunday is nothing again and it's going to be glorious! I might actually be able to make a real dent in my DVR which is screaming at me with an 85% full reminder popping up every time I add a new recording.
