I had a c-section and am just over 4 weeks out. The bleeding had nearly stopped last week, but seems to be picking back up slightly. I don't need more than a thin panty liner though. When is this going to be over?
It's different for everyone. Did you start being more active in the last week? That can cause an increase, especially if you're over doing it. I can't remember how long I bled after my C though sorry
6 weeks. It was very light, even from the beginning, so I thought I would get lucky and only deal with it for a couple of weeks. Nope. It lingered for a full month and a half.
I had a c-section, and was similar to what you said with it coming and going a bit.
I'd say by 2 weeks out I didn't need more than a light pad (probably more than a pantyliner though) and it would taper off and then start up again a bit probably until about 6 weeks out.
I delivered vaginally, so I don't know if it's different, but 6 weeks for me. But the last 2 were so light I would debate putting on a liner then it would increase a tiny bit and back to basically nothing.
The first time I think it was 5 or 6 weeks. Pretty constant the whole time.
Second time around it was pretty much done by 3 or 4 weeks. Except if I walked a lot or just overdid it with activities in general, then it would start back up for a day or two.
I had a vaginal birth, I'm not sure if that makes any difference but I completely stopped bleeding and spotting right up until a couple days before my 6 week pp check-up.
Fellow CS'er signing in. Sounds totally normal with the starting/stoping. Have you been exerting yourself a bit more lately? That always made it worse for me. I bled for about 6 weeks and felt like I needed a pantiliner for a few more weeks after that for random spotting.

I'm currently 2 weeks out post cs and I have not worn a liner in a few days. With my first that was similarly. It did seem to start and stop so I'm probably not done
I think 4-6 weeks? It tapered down and almost stopped around week 3, I think. Then after spotting for a while, bam, picked back up for another week or two. MMM told me it was common when I came on here asking.
After my first c/s I bled for 11 weeks. It turns out I had "products of conception" left behind. (aka, placenta bits) The doctor monitored it with ultrasounds and it just went away on it's own.
I bled for about 6 weeks with my second c/s. I had the same thing where I thought it was finally gone then *surprise* it's back again!

My next door neighbor just had to have surgery for this.
To answer questions, I haven't been any more active than normal. I've been walking the dog and baby daily since I got home from the hospital, but don't do much else. I did help DH dig out a flower bed last weekend though.
Anyway, I guess it's all normal for now. It's not even that big of a deal, but I'm ready to be done with it.
I was bleeding a little on and off until six weeks. Sometimes only when I wiped. If I had a particularly active day I bled. Delivered vaginally. Heavy bleeding stopped after 5 days or so.

I had a c section, bled a lot off and on for two weeks, then lightly for about two more but some days would be heavy, then my period returned at 6 weeks
DD1 was 4-5 weeks. Tapered off like I read it would.
DS was 2 weeks. My first c-section.
DD2 was 7 weeks. It would go away and then come back with a vengeance. 2nd C-section. As a lovely plus my first PP period started at 8 weeks even though I was nursing around the clock.
DD3 was 8 weeks. It would go away for 3 or 4 days and then come back. I was too active too soon. Every time I would do too much it would return. It was never heavy though. Even day 1 after the c-section I could have used a regular pad.
