Red lips. It just makes me feel uncomfortable, and i hate it on me. I have tried lots of different reds, but i feel like im dressed in drag or hookerish. Lots of people can pull it off, but not me lol

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Dark smokey eye with the dark color going all the way across the mobile lid, from outer V to inner corner. I love a dark outer V, but I need a lighter color in my inner corner because I have deep-set eyes. Dark colors all the way across my lid age me.
Most cool colors anywhere on my eyes. They make me look sick.
Bold lips. Love it on other people, but I feel clownish. Also, lower lid liner. Water line is ok, but below the lashes makes me look like I have dark circles or something.
Green eyeshadow. Makes me look like someone punched me in the eye.
Red or brownish lipstick. When I got married the lady who did my makeup asked me if there was any color I didn't want for a lipstick color and I told her no red or brown. What does she bring with her? Brown lipstick and nothing else. I took that shit off as soon as I walked out the door of the salon.
Silver and gray eyeshadow is not great on me. Other than that, I think I'm pretty lucky in terms of the range of colors I can wear. I have to work harder with cooler colors and brights, but I can't think of anything I wouldn't ever wear. The advantage to my glasses is that they tone down loud eyeshadow and balance a bright lip, so I will slather just about anything on my face. I'd probably be less adventurous if I had 20/20 vision.
Bold lip - especially darker colors. I have pretty thick, uneven lips, and dark lips often look very ott on me, or bleed/look messy. Also, my skin has a fair amount of blemishes, and I feel like a dark/bold lip really emphasizes that.
Bold lips. I love the look on other people, but don't think it looks good on me. Whenever I try a bold lip, I end up wiping off the lipstick about 5 minutes after I apply it.
Nude, non traditional colors, or frosted lips. Cat-eye or winged liner, I want to make it work, but I need more practice. Heavy blush Bold colorful eyeshadow
I have a hard time pulling off red or purple lip colours. Purple I especially hate. I also look awful with liner under my eye. I have to by careful since I have dark undereyes, and anything dark makes it look like I haven't slept in the last decade.
Cat eye hands down. I must have a really messed up technique/eye shape because it usually looks awful. I am seriously impressed with those of you who can pull it off.

Eyeliner. I just can't do it without it running all over my eye. I'll keep trying though. Any bruise coloured eyeshadow (purple, etc) as it does make me look bruised. Purple or orange lippy. Just no.

nude lips. I try and try but ::shudders::
Blue eyeshadow. Again, I try and try, but I can't seem to be able to pull off the 'ironic blue' as opposed to the 'stole mom's eyeshadow in 1978 blue' ...but hope springs eternal.
Not exactly a look, but I can't pull off eyeshadow. No matter how many YouTube tutorials I watch and how much I practice, I always end up with either tired looking eyes or angry eyes. :*(
I guess the upside to this is how much money I've saved not buying eyeshadow palettes?
Winged eyeliner - my eyes are slightly different shapes and any attempts to get a wing just bring that out. Bold colored eyeshadow - I just keep trying and I can't make it look right on me Very warm colors like orange, peach, coral, and most golds are very hard for me to get right without looking diseased.
I'm getting bolder in my lipstick choices, especially when I'm wearing my glasses, but I just can't do very bright colors like Palomino. I don't think I have enough contrast in my natural coloring so slightly softer tones work better for me.
