loira, thanks for asking! I'm doing fine, still trying to meet people but well overall. My husband will indeed finally be here mid-June. The schedule thing I need to check is whether he's decided to fly in that day or another, actually How are you? Did your husband defend yet? Do you have a move date?

I'm doing well, thanks. My husband defended in December and passed (hurray!) but has to submit corrections before they'll award him the degree (boo!). We don't have a move date yet, but we've now decided to either leave or stay based on my career. So now I'm looking for an amazing opportunity on either side of the Atlantic.

Bummer, but hopefully I'll be going again before the summer is out and maybe you can make that one.  In any case, assuming you're traveling for fun, that's not such a bad reason to miss it!

Let me know if you go again, I really do want to go.

That looks so fun! It's a bit far, though. Plus we are pretty strapped for cash since we're buying a flat. Actually, we have a ton of money in our account since they haven't taken the deposit out yet, but we'll be broke very soon haha. But a good kind of broke, I guess?

Damn, it would definitely be fun, but I can't join in the trapeze stuff as (fingers and toes crossed this one sticks) I'll hopefully be 13 weeks by then, and my specialist has told me I'm only allowed 'moderate exercise'. I'd love to join for lunch afterwards though.
