Happy Mother's Day to all the TTTC Grads!! I hope you're all enjoying your day with your LOs!!
(Just realized the title displayed in TTTC and I remember how upsetting Mother's Day is when you're going through IF! So I changed it! I hope I didn't upset anyone!)
We haven't had a check-in for a while. How is everyone??
1. How far along are you or How old is your baby? 2. Share an AW! PIP if you can!

I wanted to PIP so I had to get my phone.
James is 3 months old already! It amazes me how fast it's going. I think about those nights in the hospital and I can't quite comprehend it all!!
He's smiled at me and H this week! It's the best thing. We've both been complete idiots around him just to get a smile for the past several weeks...now he's doing it and we continue to be ridiculous.
I am almost 15 weeks, 14w5d today. For real, pregnancy is starting to fly by! I found a new OB to see in Texas and my first appt with him will be our 20 week appt to find out the sex next month. Holy crap, I can't believe its almost time for that!
My AW is we found a house to rent for the summer at our next base. Finding housing is always the most stressful part of moving, so it feels good to have that figured out!
C is almost 6 months old. I can't believe how quickly time is flying by!
He is so much fun and is so interactive. He loves playing and belly laughs and giggles all the time. There is no sweeter sound than his cute little laugh. I'm off work in a week and a half for the summer, and I'm so excited to spend more time with him.
Breastfeeding is still going well. I'm really happy to make it to 6 months and I'm hoping we can get to a year. No other foods yet. We tried bananas and sweet potatoes at 4.5-5 months, but he wasn't ready and spit most of it out.
Sleep has been pretty rough lately, so I think we're going to try CIO when I'm off work for the summer. C went from sleeping through the night, to a 6 hour stretch with one MOTN wakeup, to waking up every 2.5-3 hours. Some nights we are up every hour wrong direction, buddy! He goes right back to sleep when I nurse him, but I'm exhausted getting up so much.
Your little guys are adorable krystee and Monica Geller! Love those sleepy smiles.
I am so excited for you G22! That is such a fun time. I probably missed it, but are you just moving to TX temporarily or is Germany on hold now?
azurely, C is adorable! The sunglasses picture is too cute!
Texas is just a stop on the way to Germany. My H has training there for a few months that is required for his job overseas. But we'll be in TX long enough to rent a place for a few months vs live in a hotel. It will be cheaper this way. We'll be on our way to Germany in the fall, before the baby gets here. So our little one will be born over there.
I can hardly believe all the BFPs in the last couple of weeks. So exciting!
I'm 21 weeks today. A/S is tomorrow.
A confession: I have done absolutely nothing to prepare for a child in our home. I admit that the primary reason for this is that I keep expecting it to be taken away from me. Did anyone else experience this or am I completely mad?
Hello! Twins are 7 months old Crazy that Mother's Day last year we were announcing to families. Babies are doing great. 6 month appt they were 11 & 13 1/2 lbs - still tiny but growing steady. They sleep from about 730/8 - 530, eat, and back to bed till 730/8 am. Great schedule and I'm sure will get screwed up when they start teething.
We started solids at 6 months. DS loves food but gags if it's chunky. DD has good and bad days. I've been making all their food which is fun too. I'm still EP'ing. Shocked I've made it this far and just pushing thru till 11 months when I can start dropping sessions. 2:30 am pumping sucks but I make just enough for them so do what I have to.
They're such happy babies that smile and laugh all the time. I really wish I was home with them all summer but being home 3 days a week has been a blast. DD can roll both ways and starting to get into position to crawl. DS is very close to sitting unassisted. They're starting to play together more which is so much fun. I love being a twin mom.
I can hardly believe all the BFPs in the last couple of weeks. So exciting!

I was the same way! I kept expecting something to go wrong. The A/S made me feel better. Hitting viability made me feel even more okay. Then 3rd tri started and I was like "crap! We need to start getting ready!" Then my water broke at 31 weeks and I had a baby at 32 weeks!! So, my advice is to allow yourself to prepare a little earlier than I did, just in case baby comes earlier than expected! We were running to BRU in between visits to the NICU just to buy things...like a carseat! Of course James was born before 2 of my 3 showers, so we just bought what we NEEDED until after those were over, then we filled in the holes with the completion discount.

I was the same way. I wouldn't really even think of what needed to be done until the anatomy scan and very slowly started buying things and getting his room ready. And then it was a scramble to get everything done in the last few weeks, lol.

1. How far along are you or How old is your baby? 31+2. Time is flying! 2. Share an AW! PIP if you can! We are officially residents of RI now. We moved next week. Heading back to NJ this Saturday for my baby shower!

Totally normal. I didn't register until 25-26 weeks and felt like I was jinxing things every time I did any baby prep.
linz I blame teething for our recent sleep troubles. His first tooth broke through a couple weeks ago and he was a clingy mess.
Although he slept in his crib 9:30-4:45 last night, so maybe we are finally getting over the sleep issues. Fingers crossed that last night wasn't a fluke!
1. 31 weeks today! Time is flying by! 2. I love how much little man is moving! Even when he prefers my bladder or ovaries as his punching bags.
I agree with the others, that I started doing a lot more preparation after the a/s, which was also the first day that I definitely felt him move.
My confession: I'm starting to freak out just a little. A) just about 2 months to go! B) like half of my department had been pregnant over the last year, with about 5 or 6 due in the spring. The last one delivered last week, and I'm next. I'M NEXT. HOLY COW.
W is 5 months old! It really is crazy that the first year is almost halfway over. DS is 15 lb 5 oz and is finally getting some rolls! I'm still pumping and closing in on my goal of 6 months. I may choose to do it longer at that point. W likes rice cereal but isn't quite sure about peas. We're really terrible about feeding him solids in that we've only done it a half dozen times. I'll try harder when he hits 6 months. He's much happier now that we're treating his reflux but he still has bad days because he's cutting his first tooth. He loves to jump and laugh!

C is 36 weeks tomorrow. HOLY SHIT you guys, I'm going to have a real live baby soon.
We have our local shower on Sunday. It should be a lot of fun.
Muddled, honestly there are still times when I'm worried something will go terribly wrong. But we're preparing because there's no denying baby is going to be here soon. How does your H feel about taking the lead on getting stuff ready? It's definitely made me feel more involved in the pregnancy, which has been nice.
E is 2 weeks, and while it's only been 2 weeks, I can't believe how fast time is flying. 2nd week has been a lot harder than the 1st week, but we're pushing through. I feel bad complaining about anything. OMG she must know I'm talking about her, she just let the funniest one rip. It was like a trumpet! The faces she makes, we are so smitten. I love the after feeding sleepy faces, they are too cute. I have to post pics from my phone.

Do not feel one tiny bit bad about complaining! It is hard and TTTCers have as much right to complain as anyone else!
