What I've Been Missing

I mentioned in a post on the other board that I've been MIA because life has been busy with travel, which has been so great, and that it's sometimes hard to be on the BB when I'm not actively ttc/pg. C and I are in this holding pattern due to finances and relationship ups and downs. It's a bit of a vicious cycle as part of the relationship issues on my end are lack of forward momentum and the lack of forward momentum is financial stress which leads to more relationship tension.

This past week with my health issues (kidney), I've had some (doped up) time to be (cared for by her) and just think. I'm not sure what our next steps are (new job(s)?, ttc anyway?), and we won't be trying before the end of the year, but I'm feeling more hopeful for some reason.

Also, I've missed this community, and if it's because I'm not on the board, or you're all over here, then I'm going to make an effort to check in more, here and there if necessary.

I've missed you and am happy to see you here! I'm sorry to hear of all the stresses in your life. Know you are not alone in dealing with those issues - those topics are very common topics of conversation in my house as well. I hope you have a quick and speedy recovery and can move along the next steps, whatever they may be. ((hugs))

Glad you came on over (again . I was wondering the other day how things are going for you.

My perception of the boards is that the other is "busier," but this one has a good core group of supportive people (kinda like "the old days"). So it's slower, but what we lack in quantity, we make up for in quality. Or something like that.

TWB, that's my sense about the boards as well, which I just wrote about it the conversion discussion thread.
