Sometimes I think about starting a blog. I would love to better document events, especially DS's childhood. However I barely have time to upload pictures to shutterfly & facebook. This makes me wonder if I really have time for my own blog...?
Do you have a blog? Does it take a lot of time to "maintain"? What hosting site do you use? (blogspot, blogger, etc)
I have 2: one for my family, one for DD's birthfamily
It doesn't take much time at all. One of my blogs is on blogspot and I prefer it for uploading pix over the one on wordpress. Both are pretty user friendly though.

I have/had one through blogger - it's super easy - but for some reason I have not updated it in a whole YEAR! ugh. I feel guilty but then never go in to update it.
I do. I started it mainly as notes to myself on things about DD's life, but now it's helpful for info that's too long/complicated/whatever to post on FB since we're living abroad. I don't update it as often as I'd like, but hey, that's life. It's better than not having any written record at all of stuff I do with DD.

Right now documenting DS consists of pics, videos & notes on a calendar. So I know when he had a "first" but I don't really have any extra notes about when, where, how DH or I felt, etc.

I have one on blogger. I was really good at maintaining it for several years, but I've slacked off recently. It was/is useful to document milestones, but now that my kids are out of the baby/toddler phase, there's less to post about. And I don't carry my camera around as much; I prefer to post entries w/ lots of pictures, but of course, that's not necessary.
I was the world's worst blogger when I tried to do a random travel blog. Instead, a nestie and Google suggested I email DS instead. Lol. I created a gmail account for DS and email him whenever I feel like it. DH also emails him. I was hoping I would be very consistent with it but I am not. ::le sigh:: I am just not good at this stuff.
