I want to see it. H isn't sure, because becoming a UAV pilot is a serious option for him and he's really afraid of exactly what the movie depicts. It's not playing anywhere near here so I have to wait until I go to NY in 2 weeks anyway.

Eeehhh.
I don't know if H will ever become a UAV pilot, but we do know a lot of people in the community who have shared some of the sentiments that I heard in the preview. I don't know if i am ready to watch something like that, but FWIW I tend to avoid military movies because I don't enjoy watching "hard" things.
I think it has the potential to be educational though. I am on the fence.
We watched this on Apple TV a few nights ago, and I have to say that I think the underlying story is actually pretty accurate, at least based on things I have seen/done in combat flying in the same airspace as UAVs, and based on conversations I've had with people I know who fly UAVs.
The major plot points, however, are preposterous and insulting. And UNBELIEVABLY offensive to women. Like, it basically undid the last SEVERAL DECADES that women have spent trying to become equal players in military aviation.
