I feel like my belly is splitting apart

Im 28 weeks. Little girl is totally low-lying. I just started gaining weight, and developed the first stretch marks in the last 2 weeks. I got horrible stretch marks on my hips/ thighs in puberty, so I expected them. But this HURTS! Below my belly button especially. It helps if I push my belly inwards to relieve the outward strain.

Am I a freak of nature, or have others experienced any baby-related growing pains?

I haven't had that kind of pain myself, but have you tried one of those support bands? I'm just thinking that if applying pressure gives some relief, that maybe a band would also provide some pressure to give you a little relief?

Thats a good idea; I'll check Amazon and see what I can find...

I would also rec a belly band. They have them at Target if you need it right now.

You can also get one at a medical supply store. They are called an abdominal binder. Otherwise drink lots of water, it helps with the elasticity in your skin.
