I did see the original email actually. It was....not good. I hope it wasn't sent.
If the OP didn't send it, I am curious to know how the relationship with her boss fell apart so quickly. I DO get that I don't deserve to know this, I'm just being nosy. lol
she didn't send it. she went directly to her boss. I read the damn post and I already forget. She says her boss was not speaking to her because she was giving her time to cool off from the phone call where she told her she didn't get the job. boss claimed she was worked up in it and slammed the phone down OP says she was very calm and on a cell, which you can't slam down. But then she talked to her boss and her boss said she owes her an apology, op said when hell freezes over. my memory sucks, so that's all I got....
Whether it is fair or not, if you don't understand that simply being good at your job is not enough to make it in almost any profession, you're going to continue to be baffled by being passed by on promotions. hermione, I know I don't know you at all, this is just based on a comment you made in the other thread.
jenny1980- herm talks about excelling in her job even with all this going on, but in a previous post, she mentioned that she is basically just showing up every day and that is it. So which is it?
Telling your boss when hell freezes over is akin to "oh honey" and "go sat down". It's rude, it's unprofessional, and it lets everyone know that you cannot use your adult words.
