You need to have your picture resized already (flickr does this for you into multiple sizes, or you can resize it using paint or something before you upload). If you grab a pic online you're going to have to resize and rehost, which will suck for gifs.
We don't have to use breaks <br> anymore, you can just hit enter. I don't know how to center it.
It's visual basic (vB code), so google that if you're looking for hints.
Avatar, grab your url, click on profile up top and then the Modify Profile link.
There should be a little box for Avatar. Paste your link in there, no coding required. For width and height, put 100 in both if it's a square. If it's not, I'm not sure. Then click modify profile at the bottom.

It's pretty much covered on this Wikipedia page. You may be thinking of vBulletin, which is a forum software that also utilizes BB Code. And here's the BBCode tag resource page (which includes details on resizing with BBCode).
I resized my photos in flikr and they're the size I want there, but when I put them into my signature here, they're all so small! Anyone know what might be up?
Nevermind! Got it! Thanks for the guidance, ladies!
Did you do something different? I noticed it just did that on a pic I posted, and I saw it on another thread too (it was small but then I came back and checked it and it was normal size all of a sudden).
