R: ten more school days... Aw: my baby is going to have the cutest tush at daycare tomorrow!! I just traded for 4 new diapers, 2 are new prints entirely. V: dh can't take a day off we were hoping for so no couples vacation for us in July
R - I went to the walk in for me today and I have a sinus infection, fluid in my ears and some rattle in my chest. I got psydophedrine, antibiotics and codeine to sleep. I love docs. AW - 2 more days of school here, then we are going camping for the weekend, but it is supposed to be cold. V - I need to go shopping tomorrow for the food we need for camping. :/
R: I finally met @letranger at her place of work yesterday. So fun to talk to someone face to face after years of the internets.
AW: dd1's teacher called me today to just tell me how great she's doing. I guess things with her writing & math skills have exploded in the last month. I'm thrilled she's doing so well.
V: DH came home sick yesterday and hasn't left the bed or couch. I think he's legit really sick; but having him down unexpectedly is making this week rough and I'm irrationally annoyed.
Jack is either teething or sick (possibly has an ear infection?); crazy swim lesson schedule, last week of preschool, etc.
AW: we finally have a plan for our trip to California! I miss my family so much and my SIL already has a whole list of stuff planned for us to do. I can't wait!
R: tomorrow is the last day of school. I will probably cry.

How was graduation?
It was great! DS2 got a spotsmanship award I didn't know he was getting so that was fun. DS1 told me he wanted to go so I called him out until after, and then he saw what they were having for breakfast at school and changed his mind and went to school. There were a lot of older siblings there so I doubt anyone would have cared if we brought him.
R: the stupid buzzards are still in our back yard. It's so odd. I won't let the baby play out there because the swooped down at him the other day.
V: the swim team we were going to do this summer went to people who live in the neighborhood only. It makes no sense and cuts their already small team in half. The coach is not happy.
Aw: DS is reading so well they tested him at a level 20 which is second grade. He went into kinder with very basic reading skills. His teacher is amazing!!
I have another aw. One of DH's designs was used as an advertisement for his company in a national defense magazine. It was a full page spread. I am so proud of him and he was so thrilled. It was so cool to see the finished product of all his hard work, long hours, and traveling.

My grandparents had geese at their lake when we were little and I would get so scared when they would honk and chase after us kiids. I cannot imagine a buzzard!
It's crazy the things are huge and it's not like we live in the country. We have a half acre lot with neighbors on all sides. The older kids think it's funny.

dizzycooks, those are so adorable. I just ordered DS 3 more diapers off Zulily...he's 2, and presumably will be potty trained at some point. But they were so cute! And I got DH to recommit to the cloth diapering, so we're going through them faster now. At least that's what I tell myself.
R: I am drinking my coffee in peace. Thank you, Daniel Tiger. AW: DS hugs everything, and is constantly demanding hugs. Those big, squeezy, toddler hugs, where they grunt at the end. I love it. "Hu'?.....Mo'?" AW2: DD has been really nervous about starting kindergarten in the fall, so we tagged along with a couple of neighborhood friends to school pick up the other day, and she got to see the kindergarten hallway and meet a couple of the teachers. One even patched up a scraped knee she had gotten on the way over. I think that may have soothed some of her jitters. V: I think my MIL is mad at me again.
R: DD just had a PB&J, chips, yogurt, and a quesadilla for lunch. She is tiny and I have no clue where she puts all this food.
R/Aw/V: today was the last day of school. It was a half day and summer had officially started! I am excited for summer but DS and DD are already fighting. I'm hoping we all survive.
AW: Both kids got all A's this quarter and DD has had all A's all year. She also tested at grade 3.5 reading level. Her growth this year has been amazing. Her teacher was awesome.
V: I interviewed 4 weeks ago for a teaching position and although I have been told unofficially by a couple teachers I know well and given hints by an administrator that I have a job, I have not received an official offer and it is so frustrating. They knew they were going to have open positions and our current principal is retiring so he was trying to get ahead and interviewed early. Some of the teachers who are leaving didn't turn it official paperwork and our district is slow at processing it so...they can't officially fill a position that is not officially vacant. I wish they would get it together. The waiting is killing me.
R - We had family pictures and DD2's 2 year portrait done a couple weeks ago and they turned out so well! I can't wait to get the photos back and hang them up. Pictures of my kiddos make me so happy.
AW - I fly out 2 weeks from today to see my sister who lives on the opposite coast and I am so excited for a variety of reasons. 1) I haven't seen her in a year and it will be nice to catch up in person, 2) sleeping in and uninterrupted sleep, 3) eating delicious food and drinking all the drinks. I look forward to this trip all year!
V - I have been trying to get back on the workout wagon and was really motivated. I also have a skin condition that flares badly when it is hot/I sweat (one of the reasons I dread summer). I have had it pretty well under control for the last year or so but as soon as I started working out again, WHAM. One of the worst flare ups in the last 5 years. It really sucks because I have the motivation to getting going, but feel stuck because it is so uncomfortable.
