I had to rewind the scene with Farrah, Daniel, and his parents, because although Farrah is a total bitch, I just could.not.believe what she said to his step mother about not having any kids and "Well, how old are you? 51? Uhhh I don't think it's gonna happen for you now." and "Ooooh you're going to be a LONER." And the whole deal with her giving him ultimatums and deadlines, after they have only been dating 6 weeks. Psycho... So glad he dumped her ass.
I think what Maci tweeted was kind of weird and inappropriate, and she was trying to backpedal by trying to say she meant something else by it, etc.
I can't believe Tyler/Caitlyn are already skipping entire semesters of school...why? What else are they doing (besides working PT?)
Amber, hot mess. I felt bad for Gary when she went nuts on him for getting mad at her for not taking Leah when she said she was going to. Total wackadoodle. Apparently Amber ain't doing too badly either, driving a nice new Lincoln and looking at a very large home to rent. I wish I could afford nice things like that and still lay on my ass all day
I could not believe Farrah said that to his step-mom. WTF? I think she is delusional. It was kind of the perfect ending for her boyfriend to just not show up to the hotel and ignore her calls. She is so used to acting like a bitch and walking all over people... she kind of got a taste of her own medicine.
Amber is a complete nut job. She told Gary that she wanted Leah that specific day and then went ballistic on him when he brought it up. Geeeez. She is not mentally stable and I hope eventually she is only allowed to have limited/supervised contact with Leah.
I think Maci is manipulative. Why would she even tweet anything about her and Ryan being together? Even if she did mean it the way she said she did, which I doubt, there is no point to that thought whatsoever.
Did Caitlynn and Tyler not have guidance counselors? Or school counselors? I just don't understand why they are sitting around their living room asking each other what kind of degrees they need for the jobs they want. And it's really short-sighted to just drop out of school completely because they are unsure of that. I'm sure they could still be taking general ed requirements while they figure things out.
DH and I were laughing our asses off that Daniel made Farrah go home by herself from Austin. She was insane. Can't believe what she said to Daniel's mom.

Farrah has definitely gone off the deep end! She's always been a spoiled brat type girl and this episode just made me want to smack her over the head and say "GROW UP!!" I can NOT believe what she said to his stepmom. If I were him, I would have kicked her out right then. Who says stuff like that? As for the pressure to get engaged, I get that she doesn't want to be in a relationship that isn't going to go anywhere, but you have to give it more than a month to figure that out. You could see how uncomfortable Daniel was.. I felt bad for him.
Amber is a psycho. I love when she yells at Gary for cussing at her when she's dropping f-bombs every other word. I hope all of their fighting and general craziness doesn't affect Leah too much. She's adorable.
I'm also curious about Catelynn and Tyler skipping a semester.. aren't there some generals they could get out of the way? Any classes for both majors that overlap? Even if they took the wrong classes, that's only one semester's worth of classes they'd have to redo. Not that bad.
I get what Maci was trying to say with that tweet. Yes, it would have been easier for everyone involved if they would have stayed together. But why say that, especially publicly? I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. Oh, I also think it was really nice of Ryan to offer to let Maci see Bentley on his bday. I wasn't expecting that!

My favorite is, "WHY ARE YOU FUCKING CUSSING AT ME YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT???" lol.
Leah is so, so cute. "Hi Mommy, it's 'My Leah' " I'm currently in the "no kids" camp but seeing her and Bentley kinda make my heart soften towards it
PS - Daniel seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Leave it to Farrah to screw it up.

I couldn't get over Tyler and Catelynn saying they didn't want to ask because the school "would just tell them what they wanted to hear." Acedemic advisors can tell you if a certain degree is offered and it has nothing to do with what they think you want to hear. Or look up the college online.
The whole Farrah trainwreck was just uncomfortable. She is totally off the train tracks.
Amber is crazy. I am sad to know she is going to jail for an extended period of time, but I think in the end it will be better for Leah.
Maci shouldn't have put that on twitter, but I think Dalis/ Ryan blew it out of proportion. He keeps saying he is going to "establish his rights" but he is the one who agreed to what they set up.
I think MTV is doing the right thing by getting them off the air. It is the same shit, different episode with these four.
OMG. There were so many WTF moments. I totally agree with everything said. Especially psycho Farrah. I'm kind convinced she was drunk when she met her boyfriend's father and step-mother.
Maci is totally manipulative and that twitter comment was so immature and she totally knows what she was doing when she tweeted that.
Farrah just seems so socially awkward & insecure to me. She seems to think if a man isn't going to sweep her off her feet & promise to marry her she shouldn't be dating him. I sorta feel bad for her because I don't think she can help herself.

I think this episode more than most was filled with "um .... whats" for me. Caitlin and Tyler dropping out of college ... um, no, take some general ed pre-reqs, kids.
I almost fast forwarded through all of Farrah in Austin. I was so so uncomfortable during almost every scene with them. From that awkward pinchy kiss by the elevator, to what she said at dinner, to how tight poor Daniel's life jacket appeared to get over the course of their boat ride.
I'm almost over watching Amber. I can't stand her.
Maci is still my favorite, but, goodness, some comments are better not wandering around the internet.
This episode was full of bizarre-o moments and that's saying something.
Catelynn delaying starting college and Tyler taking off a semester so they can figure things out? Um, it's their first and second semester, respectfully, and they're presumably knocking out the basics in the first few semesters. I just don't get it.
Amber...ay yi yi...sadly, I think she's better off behind bars. Certainly, Leah will be better off not exposed to the train wreck that is Amber. Gary may be a lot of things, but from what I've seen, he's a very involved, loving father.
Maci - come off it, you know very well what you were doing as you tweeted away. That having said, I didn't see it as that big of a deal, certainly not worthy of the expletive-filled text Ryan sent her. I also have to say that I can't stand Dallas or Dalis or whatever the heck her name is.
Which brings me to Farrah. I just can't...kudos to Daniel for running as far and fast as he could from the uber-demanding harpy.
This has been one of the best episodes of the season so far!
Farrah being bratty, rude and disrespectful to people didn't come exactly as a surprise to me but yes I was shocked at her being so desperate. Dh and I were laughing out loud literally at her trying so hard to be nice and throwing those not so subtle hints of marriage and kids. No wonder he left her, and she's totally responsible for that. Other thing that shocked me were her boobs, DH jokes that she must have a boob job per week. I know some bras can do wonders but boy, those are huger every week.
I don't know who Caitlynn and Tyler think they're fooling with their acting. It's more than obvious that they're lazy and procrastinating. If not, no one in his right mind would lose a semester for a doubt that could be anwered in 30 minutes in the college office or even online. I'm starting to get annoyed at their constant rationalization of everything they do and not taking responsibility.
Amber looked like a hooker in this episode and I was amazed that someone would agree to rent her a house.
Maci was a little boring as usual, proving one more time that she's not as mature as she says she is.

Seriously. They HAVE to have pre-recs to do. They barely graduated high school. It isn't like they got all of their general ed requirements done through AP classes or dual enrollment. Tyler said "I just want to get this done as soon as possible." Right, that is why you're taking a semester off. I actually really like them and think they have made a lot of generally good choices in the face of a really crappy life/childhood, but I just can't understand. Plus, I'm pretty sure it is community college that they are going to. Those credits are cheap so even if one or two classes couldn't be counted when they changed they aren't losing that much money.
Farrah is INSANE. The end. And don't even get me started on Amber. Gary isn't perfect, but I don't know how he deals with her.
