I like the grey, but I'll warn you that buying a sofa with a chaise attached is a PITA in case you're going to remodel/upgrade/change. Or even if you're just going to change the layout of the room, it seems that you're always stuck with the whole chaise thing, which is a drag. It's not just about reversing it, it's that it changes the whole dynamic of the structure of the room.
Or at least it's been in my opinion with moving so much, and that's not your case, since you just purchased, so disregard. That said, I do prefer the neutral tone of the grey more than the teal, even if I adore teal.
Teal if this is a formal living room and grey if it's where you will be hanging out to watch tv.
I agree with this.
The teal would be ideal for a formal living room or sitting room. A perfect place to sit and chat and have a glass of wine with someone. The gray is perfect for a living room where you want to lounge and watch some TV, eat chips and salsa, and have a beer. It also looks great for naps.
Ultimately, I think it boils down to how you plan to use the space.
I have the grey couch, but without the chaise part. I love it. I've had it just over a year, and it still looks brand new. I will say one thing that irritates me is the seat cushions are always sliding out, because of how the back cushions are. But it's cozy, and super comfortable.
