@blueeyes623, did your bunny pass away? I think I read that he wasn't doing well but didn't catch that. I'm so sorry.

I'm at the beach house with T and the baby. I'm glad we decided to come and we're even going to stay another night and go home tomorrow morning. My friend has been here all day and it's been fun hanging, but I kind of want to just spend some time alone with my little family tonight but don't know how to get her to leave. Oh and we had the sex last night, for the first time in like 6 months. It feels good to have that part of our relationship back again.

I'm happy it's a long weekend. I got to photograph a super cute puppy this afternoon. It was nice to take some pictures again but omg so much movement. I think I'm gonna stick to urban/landscapes.

NY&Co was having a good sale and they emailed me a coupon for $25 off $75 for signing up for their emails. What do you know, when I put in the code it says it's not good for this sale. So I deleted my entire cart and will spend my money elsewhere.

Tomorrow is my Friday. On Tuesday I am going to get a pedicure...yay! Maybe do some shopping as well.

My evil siamese decided to barf on my bed and the floor at 630am.  I then proceeded to rip off half of my finger nail while trying to deal with the mess.

I did find this today and that made everything all good



And in total randomness for the day....my cell phone yet again thought that I was in Mexico when I was still in the US!!  Every time I go to Cabrillo National Monument I pick up the mexican cell tower in Tijuana.

OMG, I totally remember that flavored seltzer water! Black Cherry was my favorite, too.
That's funny about your phone. I can't say I had that problem when I lived down there and was stationed at North Island.

I had a ton of crap to take care of today before I leave for Disneyland tomorrow. One of the last things I did was touch up the temporary color I have in my hair. It seemed to be a bigger PITA this time, and now my fingernails are stained a light turquoise color.
I did a bunch of gardening this afternoon, and now my back is unhappy with me. That's going to make the flight to LA tons of fun tomorrow!
Jojo, that is crazy scary, I'm glad you're OK. The ILs live just east of OKC, and DH had been calling to check up on them, but in the "silver lining" department, FIL's mom is not doing well, so they are actually in Alabama. I don't think they have to worry about their house flooding, because it's on a high point of their property, but they do have a pond that's already spilling over the dam. Hope everyone there is doing well.

I expect the cell phone issue when I'm in Chula Vista not when I'm in Point Loma.

I was sooo excited to find the seltzer and it took all my self control to keep from buying all of them in the vending machine.

Acetone should remove the dye stains but you can always just paint your nails with blue nail polish

Thanks everyone. It was pretty terrifying at the time. 911 and the firemen were awesome. I got a call from my insurance, they are covering my rental and tow bill. I have a $1,000 deductible, but they are covering it. He did say to have repairs looked into. Lol. No. I had water up to the steering wheel. Bitch is totaled. MH works for Toyota, so he is going to deal with it all. I haven't been able to tow it because the summbitch is still under a good 2 feet of water. The tow truck is checking tomorrow to tow it to H's work. Ugh. Not fun.

jojoandleo, glad they're covering the deductible etc. Good that your H can help out with all that. I'd absolutely say it's totaled. Water damage is not good.  Again, glad you are ok...cars are replaceable..you are not.
