We were supposed to go on the Dream the last week of April but had to cancel due to my mom being in ICU and having heart surgery. We just got our money back from the travel insurance so I'm going to rebook!

Thank you for posting! DH and I just got back from our first cruise (kid free) and I think I've been bitten by the bug. Definitely wanting to plan a Disney cruise for our first ever big trip with the kids.

Thanks for sharing! We're taking a cruise on the Fantasy in November, so I really appreciate the info. I was also planning on looking into the airport hotel, bit now I'll check out that transportation company too!
H and I were actually looking at a disney cruises at night! Great recap and I love all the pics of your kids - it looks like they had a great time!
Also, do you mind sharing how much you spent?
We spent about $6,500 on the cruise and travel insurance for 7 nights. Other expenses were our hotel the night before ($250), travel to the port ($200 round trip), flights ($1,000 for 5 seats using companion tickets), and about $600 on board for excursions, Internet, the nursery, and a few other odds and ends. However, if you have a smaller family, you can go much cheaper. The only rooms that fit 5 people are family rooms with verandahs, which are pricey. Other categories of rooms are much cheaper.
What a great trip report! Your kids are adorable and I love that you took them to Señor Frogs
Do you mind sharing your budget for this trip? And how old do they need to be for kids club?
I shared the budget above but let me know if you have questions.
Potty trained and over 3 for the kids club. And, I'd say it's best for fairly confident kids, especially if they're younger because all of the kids from 3-12 are mixed together. The counselors do a great job of having activities for every age, but I'd imagine it might be tough for a shy 3 year old on their own.
