Do you have an insulated lunch box? I'm a walking lunch cart anytime I leave the house with my kids. I usually bring an insulated lunch box (just an old character one from Target that DD1 used in preschool) with an ice pack. It keeps things like yogurt and cheese cold for hours, even in the Florida heat.
So, I'd probably bring something that would be better if kept cold, like a salad or a turkey sandwich and just keep it cool.
But if that weren't an option, I'd probably pack myself a PB&J.
You meant for you, right? If it's for the kids, probably string cheese, sliced apples, yogurt, crackers, and a couple PB&J's, which would have about a 50% chance of being eaten.
If we're all together I use their freezer yogurts as a cold pack for my yogurt, cheese sticks, turkey slices (my kids hate sandwiches), hummus and veggies, a sleeve of saltines, and some sort of fruit. When they were little I did a lot of frozen waffles. 90% of the time I have a bag of trail mix in my car- nuts, craisins, mini marshmallows and mini M&Ms, peanut butter chips.
I do an ice pack, but a pb&j and an apple, or crackers and pb. I keep the little jif to go cups and crackers at my desk for snacks and lunch if I forget or don't have time to grab something.

My kiddo is a horrible eater but our go to meals/snacks for when we are out are usually packages of peanut butter crackers, applesauce pouches, and raisins. I typically keep those in each diaper bag and my purse so we always have something.
PB or cream cheese with a banana in a tortilla (you can slice it if that is easier) Pasta salad (pasta, diced bell pepper, diced olives, cubed mozzarella cheese, Italian dressing) PB&J Yogurt and granola with berries Extras - carrot sticks, cucumber slices, apple slices, dried fruit, cubed cheese, olives, etc.
When we are out, like this weekend at a local petting zoo/splash pad I usually pack the following: Sunbutter sandwhiches freeze dried fruit like apples, strawberries, mango raisins Kashi cereal bars Happy Creamies (freeze dried fruit/veggie/coconut milk snack melt things) pouches Kashi clusters cereal
I don't usually bring a cooler bag but if I did I'd bring some deli turkey or ham too.
We are working with dairy, egg, and peanut allergies so that influences our choices. I prefer the freeze dried fruit for when we are out and about because it's less mess and I'm not worried about it getting smashed while carrying it around.
