Where have you traveled? up and down the East Coast, Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, some of Western Europe (Italy, Ireland, France, England)
What's in your 5 year travel plan? We don't usually plan 5 years out. In fact, even next year is still up in the air! But the current plan is maybe a 5 night trip to Curacao next summer, with a couple of long weekends (one to Savannah). Then the following year a larger two-week trip to England and Scotland. But those plans could change.
What's in your lifetime travel plan? Travel is a big priority for us. We don't have a ton of money so we really have to save for our trips and usually can only afford to do one big one a year, but that works out ok. There are still lots of places in the US (Alaska, NYC, Napa, etc) that we'd like to visit. And the international wish list is huge: Greece, Egypt, China, Japan, Kenya, South Africa, Australia, French Polynesia, Spain, Germany, Peru, Belize, a whole host of Caribbean islands... the list just keeps going!
New York City most of my life, Colorado, Italy, and New Jersey
Where have you traveled?
All over Europe, mexico, most of the carribean, most of the US, and a couple of countries in Central America
What's in your 5 year travel plan?

Same as above...never stop and see everything that is possible
Where have you traveled? 23/50 US states (the more interesting ones were Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona), a couple of Canadian provinces, the Bahamas, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Aruba, and Puerto Rico.
What's in your 5 year travel plan? New Orleans for Halloween this year. Ireland again in the spring. Then kids won't be far off, so we will probably scale back for a while.

Salar de Uyuni and Lake Titicaca, Iguazu Falls and a couple places in Ecuador.

We'd also like to see the Himalayas and Rajasthan during an India trip.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain

Where do you live? Portland
Where have you lived? Grew up in Portland. Lived in LA, Chicago, and Madison before moving back home.
Where have you traveled? 30-some countries, all in North America, Europe, Asia, and Egypt.
What's in your 5 year travel plan? 6 weeks in South America this fall or winter, then not much for a while as we will be TTC and then (hopefully) have small children. Probably closer to home, lower key trips. Backpack in the wilderness on the west coast, bike to the beach, train to Glacier National Park, and all that other "local" stuff our international vacations don't leave much vacation time for. I also hope to go to Alaska and Hawaii in the next 5 years.
What's in your lifetime travel plan? Retire early (55ish), join the Peace Corp for a while, and travel more slowly than we have time for now. When we lived in Madison, we met a couple who had recently returned from 7 years abroad, just traveling around staying in FRBO and subletted time shares. They are our inspiration, and I think of their story whenever I admire our 4-poster bed, which we purchased from them off Craigslist. Hopefully we'll also have time and money for at least a couple more big trips in the interim.
Where have you lived? FL, Kuwait and a brief stint in TX
Where have you traveled? All up and down the East Coast several times, TX, CA, UT, Las Vegas Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Italy, France
What's in your 5 year travel plan? Olympics in Rio 2016, a Caribbean cruise, 2 family reunions at a lake house, and probably a trip to either CA or UT to see family
What's in your lifetime travel plan? My bucket list includes an African safari, Hawaii and somewhere in western Asia, but I want to see as much of the world as possible.
