Huh, isn't it funny that none of these celeb/hot post baby bods get linea nigra? I remember scrubbing off the remnants with a washcloth about 9 mos pp. I know, I know, photoshop cures that, too. Maybe video footage would be more impressive, TMZ.
I never got one....genetics.
I will say, baby size (& even how much to term) makes a huge difference. I've had 4 kids & my 9lb, 39.5wk kid did way, way, way more "damage" (stretch marks, bladder & vag issues, tummy "flap") than any of the my other kids (who were 6.5-7.5lbs & only went 37ish wks). It was a huge factor. I'm not at all thin but I always had a flat stomach even post DD2 it was pretty flat...It will never be flat again without surgery now. Have any of these tiny women had big, 40+wk babies? Just curious.

DD was under 4 lb when she came out and I have stretch marks.
I've always had a faint linea nigra and it got really dark during pregnancy, but it went back to normal at some point.
I don't want to say it's a trend but I noticed a few recently pregnant fashion bloggers being a tad bit...smug that they didn't require maternity clothing during their pregnancy. So now not only am I expected to be in a white bikini 6 days post partum but I can't have my maternity yoga pants? Fuck everything.

This is probably neither here nor there but the way she has her arm positioned makes me think she's using it to hold her tummy up to look flat. I can do that too, but it's fake fake fake.
To be fair, most of her self-worth is likely wrapped up in what she looks like. She probably spent her entire pregnancy wondering if her famous husband would love her after or trade her in for a newer model.
I get what posters are saying, but I can't get up in arms about another celebrity promoting an unrealistic body image. If I think about it long enough, I am more likely to get worked up about the fact that she probably has a billion people helping her with the baby while she sleeps and gets pedicures and goes to the gym and promotes her supplement line or whatever it is. 9.5 months pp, I am much more concerned with my precarious mental and emotional state than with my physical state, sad to say.
I see the whole white bikini thing and just think, "this is not real life!" and feel pretty sure that most of my friends IRL agree with me. I see women kicking ass back at their jobs just 6 months pp, though, and it makes me want to melt in a puddle of hot, jealous tears.

As a genetically skinny person this pisses me off.
Why use something you have zero control over to feel superior? Either she's working out 24/7 which makes me sad, or her body naturally leans this way. Neither is anything to brag about.

People who are naturally athletic feel superior when they beat the other people. People who are naturally smart feel superior to stupid people. Humility is a bit of a lost art in this day and age.
I clicked the link and then got a little lost on TMz looking at pics people take of themselves in bikinis with stupid faces and post to the internet. Isn't that a little vain? Why are we totally fine looking at so many selfies of famous people but if our FB friend posted a pic of herself in her yard in her bathing suit, we would say 'show off' The Hilary duff pic is the one bugging me.
