House we are buying has brand new Bosch appliances, including the range.
About a year ago, I upgraded our range to a new GE Profile double oven that I LOVE.
I'm tempted to buy a cheap range to go in our house, move my range with us, and sell the Bosch on the other end. But, I know Bosch is a great brand and all the other appliances are also Bosch...
Now that I have a double oven I couldn't live without it so I would sell the bosch. My oven is an electrolux and nothing else matches it.No one notices it and we couldn't afford all electrolux appliances.
Personally, I don't care about matching appliances. We've chosen all of our appliances based on reviews and consumer report. If you like what you have, take it with you and replace it with a different one - though you may want to mention it in the contract (unless you aren't under contract yet). I would be irritated if I was purchasing a house and expected to be getting the appliances that I saw in the house, only to find that wasn't the case.

We did exactly what you're suggesting. Bought a cheapie S/S range for the house we sold, took our GE Profile double oven to our new construction home and sold the S/S range that came with the appliance package for $500 on Craig's List. It was more work that way, but man I love our double oven range!
