I think kids remember more than we give them credit for. My kids have been traveling around the world since they were born and are now 4 and 7 and both remember, and talk about, trips they have taken up to this point. They may not remember everything but they do remember and they remember (and notice) things that we as adults overlook. I love traveling from their perspective, but I also respect that traveling, especially overseas, isn't for everyone. It just happens to be really important to us, and how I grew up as well.
Northern Light trip in Finland or Tromso, Norway. I want DS to remember it, so at least 7 or 8. Safari in Kenya/Tanania - same World Cup - maybe 2018 in Russia - Qatar will be boring, so who knows if 2026 will be somewhere good.
Everywhere else is just vacations we'll be doing anyway. Visits to family in Italy, with other European destinations here and there, then on off years non-European vacations to places on my list. Argentina, Brazil, etc.
This popped up on my Pinterest page and I pinned it a little while ago. I think it looks amazing.
