Bleeding still 7 weeks post partum

Is this normal? It has been almost gone so many times but right now it's heavy like a period. It can't be my period, right?

It could be. I went through heavy/light cycles of pp bleeding for about 8 weeks though.

I bled for 6 weeks after DS and got my first pp period at 8 weeks.

I started bleeding at 7 weeks like a period and then nothing until 9 months pp.
My doctor swore it couldn't be my period, so I searched here and between here and google I never got an answer.

I had so many starts and stops - it was so frustrating. It got worse when I was more active. Any chance it could be your period?

I bled for about 8 weeks and it started and stopped so many times. Then didn't get my period until 7 months pp. It could be either, it was so frustrating.

It is normal especially of you didn't have a Ron of bleeding. I never bled more than like a period with any of my kids but it was 8 to 12 weeks depending on the kid before it was entirely gone.

I bled for about 6 weeks with lots of stops and starts. So it could still be PP bleeding. Did you exert yourself recently? My bleeding always picked up if I over-did it.

It could be your period, but it seems early. I bled for about 12 weeks, for what it's worth.

I bled for almost 14 weeks with DD, which my doctor said was on the long end of normal, so 7 weeks could very well still be normal postpartum bleeding.

Mine stopped around 8 weeks and then started up again briefly around 10 weeks. I thought for sure I was getting my period, but that episode was it. I didn't get my period until I weaned DD at 10 months.
