An hour commune is really long. I wouldnt because I wouldn't want to leave my dogs alone that long. Is there any chance you would be able to move closer at some point?

I'll add to the pile of yeses
Is it an hour in traffic and would maybe be less if you worked off hours since you said they're flexible with that? Or it's an hour no matter what time?

I commute an hour each way 3 days a week right now (I'm just part time), and it's not that bad. 5 days a week, yeah, it would suck. 3 isn't too bad though, especially with the added benefits you listed.
Would you go from a 5 min commute at a good company with good benefits - to an hour commute each way, but only three days a week, for $20k more - at a great company with great benefits?

Absolutely! I have a 50 min commute every day and it's honestly not too bad. So essentially doing that for a raise and only 3 days a week? Count me in!

An hour commute sucks. I've done it. Audio books and good radio help a ton. But I would totally be game for all those perks and 3 days is awesome. If it's a flexible schedule, try to avoid rush hour and work odd times. That helped my commute so much. It was still long but I could avoid traffic jams.
You know my answer. I get that the drive suuuucccckkkksssss...but, it doesn't suck as bad as you think. If you just can get to a point where you accept that you will be in traffic, it's easier to deal with. But yeah, I'd do it, I like money and I like the idea of a flex schedule.
To clarify - IF I were in a low paying job and/or had kids at home then I would. Or if I had kids at home, with all their expenses, and looking ahead to paying for college then I would but otherwise, that would not be worth it to me. I really do value my 8 minute AM and 12-14 minute PM commute. I drive a nice, quiet, tree-lined drive both ways but minutes from my home is everything I need - great shopping/restaurants/entertainment .
