This process can be so draining and I know our little ones are more aware of what’s going on than we ever imagine…anything funny that your LO says or does that you can relate back to tttc?
- When DS give me or anyone a check-up, he always gives the shot in the belly (“just like mommy”) - When a package arrives, he always asks if it’s for him or mommy’s medicine - The other day he asked me what the red spots were on mommy’s face – I told him they were pimples – yea, thanks DHEA
Ha! Too cute. My DS is still firmly in the wanting to be an only child camp, lol. Our current TTTC with a toddler issue is figuring out how to do the IUI, if it is indeed on Sunday. I suggested to H that I go alone, which actually sounds pretty awesome. Go check in and drop off the sample, go get some coffee at Starbucks, then get to wait around and read a book BY MYSELF for a few hours. Sign me up!

I wish I had a toddler to deal with while TTTC. It's much harder as they get older. DD is 11 and I'm sure knows something is up as we've left her home alone on a Sunday morning to get the first IUI and there have been several mornings where she's had to lock up and get herself on the bus. Up until the other month I was with her every morning. She's asked where I have to go a few times, I just keep telling her it's a meeting.
We have to deal with dd wanting to know what is in the giant package on the front steps too. Hard not to laugh when it is a giant tank of cryo preserved sperm.
So, this almost feels like living the dream. I have my IUI tomorrow, and since we can't bring DS, I'll go alone. You guys. Like two hours of sitting round drinking coffee and reading a book on my Kindle!

Omg, I see I already posted this. I am apparently that excited about free time! Haha. Really, I should take my work laptop, and do some work. Maybe I'll split the difference.

Mushe - how did your IUI go? I hope it went well & you just relaxed - forget work! The negative side of going to the RE on the weekend is my parents have to watch DS and then everyone is up in my business, the positive side is that the office is quieter and more relaxed - I had an IUI on a Saturday once and almost fell asleep afterwards waiting 15min b/c it was so quiet
