I agree. I went OOT for a few days in March alone and it never occurred to me to cook for H while I was gone but damn. Had I done that it would have been a really nice thing and he would have appreciated it. And vice versa.
Speaking of domestic Hs, I came home today to mine baking blueberry muffins from scratch, LOL. I mean, there is nothing wrong with that, obvs, but it was unexpected. He also went out at 8 tonight to get me wine (heart). It's his love language.
The closest my H will ever get to being domestic is grilling, lol. I have woken up on many birthdays and Mother's Days to a totally clean house. Otherwise, honestly, I have to say "hey, we're all taking an hour to clean" and he does it without bitching and he does a great job. We do that once a week or so but I have to initiate it. ***BUT*** he also does most of the laundry and that's pretty fucking domestic. He folds my sports bras in half and puts them in a perfect neat pile while I would just throw them in a drawer all messy.
I think we balance each other out? lol And above all, the way to my heart is wine. That is also my love language! (twinsies!!!!)
