I would post before and after pics....but my weight loss is stress related, not fitness related. I've probably lost 15-20 pounds in the last few months. I feel better, and am getting more active, so yay? You guys look great, and are definitely an inspiration on what good habits can accomplish.
The first 40lbs I made small changes (eating less and adding daily walks!) and for the rest I started tracking my calories and adding in group exercise and other types of workouts. I'm currently about 12-15lbs above my goal weight, which is due to pure laziness.
ETA: When I started I weighed about 194 and this morning the scale said 142.

PDQ the pic. Sorry, I don't have many to choose from because I avoided pictures as much as possible, and am still carrying that mindset.
327 in the before picture, taken the night before my surgery, on Feb 3rd., 248.4 as of this morning, but the picture is from Saturday, so more like 251. How? I had weightloss surgery, the vertical sleeve. 16 weeks yesterday from post-op, I'm down 79 lbs. My diet has changed to smaller portions, protein first (but I eat so little that I basically eat very low carb), and I ride my stationary bicycle nightly for at least 30 minutes, sometimes more. As I lose more it is easier and more enjoyable to do other activities. I've lost 42% of my excess weight as of 3-months post op, the national average is 60% at 1-year post-op. So I didn't lose it "traditionally" but I'm not not working at it, either

But you are working at it! You've changed your eating habits, and you exercise. You're doing a great job.
It's certainly not earth shattering, but here we go.
ETA: Only 20lb loss, but I have put on a lot of lean body mass, so there's that. Size 12 to 4.
But that is earth-shattering!
Most people who lose that amount do not lose that many sizes!
My 18-pound loss yielded only one size down. LOL.
I liked because I'm literally nodding in agreement. wambam reading your description of not earth shattering prepared me for maybe a tiny leaner if I squinted. GURL! Wow. I'm so proud of you!! (As weird & creepy as that might be from an Internet stranger- sorry! ) Seriously, so well done!!
Eta: And awesome job usuallylurking I think you're doing a tremendous job, & would love for you to keep us updated!!

Thank you! That is what I say, too. Aside from my H, my BFF, my dad, 2 sisters and this teeny, tiny safe place known as ML (lol) I have told nobody. Too much shaming! (Primarily from my IL's)

There is no shame. Any help you get toward better health is all a positive thing.
