I lost 70 lbs last year (while also undergoing fertility treatments!). I exercise 30 min a day (nothing too terrible), follow a high protein lower carb meal plan but pretty basic.
Damn bonquiqui! I kind of hate you - You were my inspiration to try to get 10k steps a day. I have done it every single day for 5 weeks, in addition to 3 days per week of weightlifting, and really cleaned up my eating. I've lost like 2 pounds. You look amazing!
Thank you so much! I love my fitbit and our gbcn group. I truly believe that my success can be attributed to the support and my charge. I started weight training last week so I REALLY need to get on the photos and measurements train.
If you are up for more members I would love to join the Fitbit group.

Everyone is doing great. I need to drop some weight and tone back up. Finally off of the drugs that were causing a high resting heart rate- trying to fix 3+ years of hell from nothing is hard.
May I join The Fitbit group too? My most active irl Fitbiter lost hers and changed brands. bonquiqui

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I did it the "old fashioned" way.... Changed my lifestyle. Healthier (not perfect, but healthier and with a balance) eating habits, and started getting exercise which I previously NEVER did.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

From October 2014 I am down 20lbs but not sure what I weighed in the pic on the left so I would say from there I'm down 20-25lbs. I do Crossfit and I run. I went from busting out of a size 14 to a size 8.

Well, I lost a bunch of weight back in summer '10 to late summer '11, and continued losing more into '13. My highest was 320 lbs and lowest, fall of '12, was 178. I was steady around low-mid 180's for a while before going back on an SSRI and putting on 15 lbs, and then my recent pregnancy where I'm working on losing the weight. :sigh: I suspect I may have a thyroid issue.
I was around 305-310 lbs here:
I took a shit-ton of pictures during this journey. I was in very few, about a dozen or less, between '04 to summer '11, so I was making up for all that time I was self-conscious about being in photos.
260s... fall '10.
230's? Spring '11. My hair was all a mess.
Fall of '11. This was when I lost about 115 lbs, so around 205 and a size 14/16:
What great motivation/inspiration it is to see all different types of women accomplishing big steps in their health! Everyone looks amazing and despite any setbacks, you can tell that even the smallest efforts or changes make a big difference! Everyone should be so proud of what they've accomplished.
Now I know you can't spot reduce, but give me your best exercises to lose and tone the abs!

My only real exercise is walking. I occasionally break into a run to see how my knees feel, but mostly they say no. I also garden a good amount, bending to pull weeds, digging holes, and spreading mulch are all great toners. I watch my food choices, I'm not fanatical by any means, and cut waaaaaay back on drinking. The saying is that abs are made in the kitchen, so I've taken that to heart. I feel better, look better, and sleep better with less booze.

But my wine!! Lol I do need to be more conscious of my booze consumption but I feel like with all the parties and time spent at the cabin and fishing or reading a book on the porch swing I consume more booze now than when a lot of people say they consume more booze calories during the thanksgiving/Xmas/New Years - I'm backwards!
I wish I was better with gardening, I seriously either kill my stuff by not watering enough, not pruning correctly, or over watering. We did buy a bunch of plants and sod for the cabin that we plan to work on this wknd so hopefully I can burn some calories that way!
