I bought a pair of LLL Inspire crops over the weekend and love them. But want to know what else is out there that's made out of wicking fabric and doesn't slide around. I've ordered a few basic pairs through Amazon (Champion, Spalding) and hate them. I think I need to stick with high end brands to get the fit I'm looking for. I have several pairs of LLL yoga pants (all or mostly cotton) and they aren't cutting it now that summer is here. I need pants that breath.
I tried on Athleta's running crops over the weekend and they are just okay. Love their shorts and wicking tees, though.

Not high end at all but have you looked at the Old Navy ones? I was very surprised that I could be so happy with something at that price point. I have several pairs of the compression capris and leggings that have been going strong for over a year now.
I have wear Brooks or LLL. Brooks generally don't have as many pockets, so I only wear them for shorter runs. But they are a nice thicker material compared to the LLL. And cheaper.
Nike running capris are my favourite. I much prefer them over any other brand. I have a few pairs that I rotate between but these are my favourite: link
Eta: They have a drawstring waist which is a must for me. Everything else seems to fall down as I run and I can't stand hiking them up during a run.
My favorite pairs are Athleta, GapFit, and Old Navy. Be careful with the GapFit and Old Navy pants, however - some of their fabrics are sort of see-through.

Did you try the chaturanga crops at Athleta? Those are my favorite!
I second Lucy. They actually closed many of their stand alone stores and I have since seen them in Dick's Sporting Goods and Sports Authority. They also have a Lucy store on Amazon now.
I also really like Zella Live In Leggings. They come in capri.
