I'm pretty sure 9 is the the worst age..

I know I've complained before but I've never been a mom to a 9 yr old before so some of the words or actions that Serena says/does leaves me like this. :-|

Take for instance this conversation..

Says I to her earlier. "Serena find your ballet stuff because classes start tonight"

She runs off and finds her tights and then stays in her room so I assume she found the rest.

She's now watching TV so I call out to her "did you find your shoes and leotard?"

She says: "I decided I'm not going to do ballet this year"

Me: Why?

She says: "I can't find my leotard and shoes in my room and I'm not going to look again."

So this child here says she'll give up ballet because she is too lazy to look for her things. :-| :@

OK, maybe I shouldn't be so hard on my little guy then.
He is exactly like that and I thought he was just being a little asshole. Apparently its a phase!

For your sake, I hope your daughter is nothing like me!! I shudder at my stupidity now looking back. I'm sure it's just a phase.
