We've been looking for patio furniture for a while, since we had to leave ours behind due to lack of room on the truck :-( I found a set that I really like at Home Depot. We were going to buy it, but before we did, I wanted to check and see if it was cheaper online. It was - it was $499 in store, $349 online. But, it's out of stock online and won't be coming back in stock because it's a seasonal item. And, HD won't honor the online price. I got annoyed that they wouldn't honor the online price and didn't buy it.
Then we went to a nearby HD for something else and found that they had the exact same set on clearance for $299! But, they had none left. The lady tried to get them to transfer one from the other store so she could sell it to me for $299 but the manager wouldn't let her. Apparently every HD store has different pricing.
So I've been calling every day for the last week to see if it's gone on clearance yet and it still hasn't. I am annoyed. I haven't found anything else I like this much in this price range.

That's annoying.
I have no patience at all for stores that won't honor their own company's online pricing.
Don't give me the, "they're two different companies" bullschitte. If they were two different companies THEY'D HAVE DIFFERENT NAMES and you all would be suing them for use of your logo.
And this is precisely why I despise trying to buy things at the end of the season to save money. I have tried so many times - really, I have! - but what you describe here is what seems to happen to me every single time. I can't handle the emotional roller coaster. Score! Oh, not really. YES! No. Wait a minute - maybe! Yes? Yes?? NOOOOO!
