I took it and it did work for me. I didn't take it in the first tri because as weird as this sounds the nausea was reassuring to me somehow that hopefully everything was okay. Once I started feeling movement, I was sick of the constant nausea and took the zofran a few times a day. In my experience, it helped alleviate things pretty quickly once I took a pill.
Yup. It makes you stop puking and takes away most of the nausea feeling. I took half doses because of my effing insurance- they wouldn't approve enough pills- so I still felt like crap but I was able to tolerate living.
It didn't work that well for me (it cut down a little bit on the vomiting but not the god awful nausea) and it also gave me the worst constipation I've ever experienced in my life. It was horrible.
But you never know how it'll work for you. It's definitely worth a try.
Yes. It's not perfect, and I still felt mildly nauseous most of the time, but it kept it from going out of control and allowed me to get a reasonable amount of food down.
However, take it with a chaser of Miralax. Colace did zip for me personally, but Miralax was a godsend.
It helped me, but my insurance sucked and would only give me like 10 tablets. My ob ended up prescribing me both Zofran and Phenergan. I took the phenergan at night only though, because I would pass out if I took it.

It didn't help me much until the 2nd tri. I just had to suffer through the first tri, but now when I feel sick, the Zofrans help take the nausea away and I usually don't throw up.

It helps some. I still vomit, just not as much. The GI effects are no joke. I get terrible gas pain that makes me think I am losing the baby. I am not sure what is worse. Have you tried the unison-B6 combo.

It helped a lot. I took it most of first tri, stopped all of second tri, and then had to start a daily dose again during third tri from 28w until the day I delivered. By then, I wasn't vomiting but was so nauseous all day that I didn't want to eat, and I had to eat b/c I was at risk of an IUGR baby.

I basically had to decide if I could survive through the nausea so I could poop sometime in the next month, or if I wanted to stop feeling sick for 8 hours but end up in tears on the toilet. I have a way TMI story about the constipation. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER for relief, but thankfully was able to take care of it at home. I'll spare the details.

It definitely helped. I still vomited on occasion and felt nauseated, but it kept things under better control. Like pps said, make sure you're at least taking colace, i added in milk of Mg when I was taking zofran round the clock.
