I just posted this on the nest..then I heard of mutiny and thought I'd post here too. DH gave Daisy a raw turkey neck when I was at work. I think I've heard that these are good for dogs, but I'd appreciate someone confirming that to put my mind at ease...

Sometimes you have to be careful about feeding raw and kibble close to same time b/c they are digested differently. Otherwise it should be fine I've done chicken with bones.
If she doesn't have a sensitive stomach, she might be fine. Sometimes it'll cause a little stomach upset, but that really varies dog to dog. Other than that though, they're good and she probably loved it.

Okay, that makes me feel a little better. Thanks hobs. This is the dog who eats mud and doesn't have an issue. I was more concerned about obstruction than anything else.

You should be fine, but in the future, I'd definitely feed them separately. The concern is kibble and raw food being mixed, and the raw food sitting longer while the kibble digests.

Thanks ladies! Hasn't seemed to bother her any. No upset tummy and a normal poop this morning. I'll just have to keep a closer eye on what DH gives her...he's a butcher so he likes bringing treats home for her.
