Spot on. My God, not everything in the world relates back to the military and its service members. Recognizing someone who isn't affiliated with the military as a hero isn't an affront to veterans and service members. I'm so done with this small-minded bullshit. People need to get over their discomfort and consider a perspective outside of their own for once in their lives.
