We just bought a house with a pool. The old owners were great about buying top of the line everything, but didn't maintain anything. So we have 3 Pottery Barn double chaise lounges and 1 single lounge chair that have seen better days. We were able to power wash and add some screws here and there to salvage them, but now we need to figure out how to paint them since they're really weathered.
Is there a certain type of paint that works best on outdoor wood furntire? And would a paint sprayer be my best option? I've never used one, but the chairs are all spaced out slats that I think would take years with a brush.
Do you know what type of wood they're made of? You could try using Tongue Oil if they're teak or other outdoor wood. Maybe use a small roller instead of a brush?

I can tell you one thing, do NOT be an idiot like me and try to use cans of spray paint. Oh my God..it was the worst idea ever. I agree a roller would be good, and a paint sprayer might work for bigger sections/pieces to get an even look.
