I'm trying to get certified to teach yoga and submit my plan on the MYCAA site. On the create education & training plain, it's prompting me to upload a "Program Plan Document File". Forgive me if this is a stupid question but...where the hell do I find one? Am I supposed to get something from the school I'm interested in or do I type something up in Word?
If the latter is the case, anyone have any examples they'd be willing to share?
It won't let me submit unless I upload something. I'm almost tempted to upload a pic of my baby just to see what happens haha. Most likely I'll get denied lol.
I think it might be equivalent to them asking for which classes I wanted to take. But all I had to do was enter in the courses and course numbers.
If it's not required, I'd just leave it. If they need it, they'll call you and then you can get more details.
I agree that's what it sounds like. Most programs outline what courses are part of the required curriculum, the number of units required to finish and so on. Since the limit on the file size is 4MB, I'd pop that info. into a Word or Excel document, save it to my desktop and then submit.
They asked me for a plan when I submitted for financial approval. It's basically a course list that would grant you the certification or degree you're trying to achieve.
They review the courses on there and then approve or deny. In the event that you're taking several courses, they need to be part of the original plan that was approved for it to receive financial assistance.
My guess is they want something official from the school. Perhaps people were saying they were working towards XX degree/certification and were just adding miscellaneous classes to the bunch.
This is easier for me though. I would've had to type in too many classes haha

Are they not verifying with the schools anymore? I know they were on that like white on rice when I was using mine. One of my classes changed because the original class was cancelled and less than a week later, MyCAA was like "Uh. What's THIS?" when I registered for a new class. lol
My guess is no because I've done the process with them over the phone and they've viewed the attached file as we spoke and approved it right then and there without contacting the school lol
The Program Plan Document File is the document transmitted electronically to the MyCAA specialist. Here at Community Business College, it's required for on-ground, online and hybrid class students. It essentially should give the program name, the course description, dates and hours and the outcomes. If all you have is something on paper (like from a catalog, for example), you can scan it in and save it as a pdf documents.
