She is about 6-8 weeks old. She is a german shepered/australian mix. She is sweet.
She follows my kiddos around and plays with them. She even gets in the back of their big dump truck and let them push her around. Pepper is currently curled up on the couch with my oldest kiddo.
I am going to need a lot of guidance because I know they can be very hard headed.

She is very cute! I was also wondering if she's abandoned. Definitely look up Nothing in Life is Free, positive reinforcement training, and also teaching bite inhibition. Underage puppy+ kids can lead to nipping issues.
Yes the mama stopped feeding them and even killed one of the litter mates. The people that had them took all of them to the shelter and I happened to be there looking around when they came in. I got to take her right away.
They were not sure of her age and 6-8weeks was a guesstament they had. Pepper goes to the vet on Monday for shots a check up and micro chipped. Once she is old enough she will be doing training classes, I beleive she has to be at least 10weeks to start the puppy class. We have started on potty training, she is doing great but I am a mess! Pepper had a rough night last night and at 4am I took her into my bed to keep her quite lol. I have my alarm set to go off every 2 hours to go out to potty with some clicker training with the potty and she is getting the hang of it. (I do take her out 30 min after each meal as well). We also started some crate training and that is a little rough but we will make it through.
