I'm right there with you. CD3 here and this is probably one of the worst AFs of my life, if not the worse. I'm coming off a medicated, clomid, cycle and it's so much heavier and crampier (is that a word?!?) then normal.

That sounds awful I wonder if the clomid makes the hormone crash more dramatic than usual.
Will you be trying clomid again next cycle? How did you feel on it before the death period? I hope next month you get added to the WC baby boom!
As a whole they have actually been better. I had one period from hell (a few months in, not the first one back) but otherwise they have been the same or better. Less cramping, less headaches, but more bloating.

I started clomid again yesterday. (CD3) and will take it again for 5 days. I actually ovulated on it which is great because sometime in the last few months my body has given up on TTC. I have only Od 3-4 times since last August. hopefully this next cycle is it for me, if not I will hopefully start seeing a RE by the end of summer.
I don't have mine currently, I just ended last week and it was miserable. Lately I've been getting a lot more headaches than ever before, it's getting annoying!
awick14 I'm sending SO many good thoughts and prayers your way!!!!! I hope this cycle is it for you!

They sucked especially when I was a kid. I would be bed-ridden for at least two days, my doctor prescribed 800mg of Ibrophine because otc stuff didn't work, plus until I got on the pill at 16, they were erratic. oh, and LONGGGG. Within the last 2yrs I switched to the arm implant bc and it hasn't ridden me of my period completely, it does stop for a few months, but when it comes back it comes back with vengeance. I mean, I bleed for the ENTIRE month.
They REALLY sucked when I was a teen. I used to get cramps that were so bad that I would lose all color, pass out and get the cold sweats. After having two kids, they were right on par with active labor contractions.
You want to read a crazy story involving my once evil Aunt Flo? No? Too bad!
When I was around 21 and taking a Non-Western philosophy class in college. I started having bad cramps in the middle of the lecture and knew if I stood up, I would pass out. I could hear the buzzing noise in my ears and I felt nauseated and the cramps were slowly getting worse. I had taken two ibruprofens but they weren't helping me at all. I raised my hand and asked the teacher if someone could help me walk to the nurse's office, I didn't know what else to do. She immediately had someone call 911. I guess I looked pretty pale....honestly I thought it was sort of an over-kill to get an ambulance involved. But sure enough, a firetruck and ambulance drove up on campus. The teacher asked that everyone gather their belongings and class was done for the day. They thought I was overdosing on something because they kept asking me what I had taken that morning.
I was taken to the ER where I promptly threw up and I was given pain meds and my parents came and picked me up. I was so embarrassed to go back to class after that.
