Thursday Randoms!

I'm making a list today of some summery reads and am going to the library after work to pick them up. I feel like I've neglected reading lately and this will be a good way to get back into it. I love summer reads, so I am excited!

My boss liked my most recent posts on Facebook. So odd considering she never responded to my email and we've still not had my review. Either way, I'm applying for jobs like crazy. More applying tonight.

I am also going to start going to the gym daily now. I gotta kick my booty into gear...I'll be 30 in less than 4 months and I want to feel great about myself when the time comes. Not skinny...just healthy and fit.

FUCKYEAH it's Thursday!!!! So glad the weekend is nearly here.

After hemorrhaging money last week, I'm happy to say I haven't spent a dime this week. So far. The week isn't over yet.

I'm going to see BF tonight and he's making dinner.

Feeling really good lately. I've been eating well and getting more workouts in. I feel like I've been able to accomplish a lot this first week on the job. I'm excited for a friend to come visit this weekend!

I just booked my trip to PDX for the 2nd weekend in July.  Maybe we can meet for lunch that Friday!  I'm excited for you on this new job!!  Sounds like it's a good fit.

I'm a Nervous Nelly today. I took a half day at work because I have a teleconference with my med mal lawyer and then I have my follow-up MRI later this afternoon. Both of these good be good news, bad news, or one good, one bad. UGH!!!

All I know is that I am not looking forward to laying on a hard table for a half hour or more. Blah!

I'm borderline annoyed/pissed off at one of the Girl Scout moms (not my troop) but a mom wants to start a competing 1st grade troop that meets after school bc the time the existing one (mine) meets doesn't work w her child.

My fear is that I will lose girls to the other troop - were a small troop 5 girls. I like being the girls troop leader if the troops were to merge, I'd be shut out entirely --- I work FT and can't participate in a troop that meets at 3pm ?!?

The kicker .. the mom that wants to form this troop has the experience but has been a no show at every leader meeting this year ... ?

Airport people watching is such good people watching! Im on my way to a conference that I'm mostly prepared for.

Happy I made time for a workout this morning -- I hope I at least get to walk a bit over the next few days.

It's rainy and I'm super tired which isn't helping.

I'm babysitting at the moment but both kids are older and don't want to do anything with me. Lol. We did play some classic N64 Mario Kart. Haha.

I want to get home and snuggle up with Mau for as long as he'll let me.

Had a fight with BF last night and woke up with a sinus headache today. But, I've lost 2 lbs and I'm going to see a standup comedian tonight so there's some good.

Wow for the most part everyone sounds very positive and optimistic today; I need to hang out here more so it will rub off on me!

I've been binge watching Married at First Sight - Season 2, On Demand every night this week. It's such an interesting concept and I can't wait to see how it ends (trying to avoid spoilers on other boards).

I have a 1st date on Saturday that I'm excited about! He's part of a car club and they are all meeting up and then driving to brunch. It's different for a first date and I hope we hit it off because we'll be spending a lot of time in the car together.

I'm feeling accomplished today. I'll receive my masters June 30th and I've been stressing out so much about it. I've been working nonstop on stuff.

i went for a pedicure after work and also got a 15 minute shoulder/neck massage and it was great!  Dinner is in the oven and I'm baking a cake later for J's potluck at work tomorrow.

I had my second interview for the legal compliance position. I feel like it went really, really well. I had answers to the 2 concerns the director had so now I just wait. I think I stand a good chance. And really, the only way someone else would get it is if they have a lot of high volume experience or are a subject matter expert. Fingers crossed people.
