Does anybody have anything?
I didn't do much this weekend; just kind of lazed about and watched OITNB. In less than 2 weeks I will be in Italy.
I want to buy a pair of distressed jeans (I know that I am really late to the party) but I'm not ready to drop $200 on jeans so I wanted to buy some cheaper options to see if I liked them. I tried a pair on from AE and they were like SUPER distressed. I don't want that. Just some light distressing, I don't need 4 inches of my thigh visible in jeans.
pantsoffdanceoff I swear by the Vigoss line of jeans at the BP in Nordstrom. I used to only wear designer jeans and these have changed my mind. They have various levels of distressing.

We had no water this morning and the dogs water dish was empty. Luckily my brother keeps bottled water on hand so I grabbed a few of those and figure that will last until the water is turned back on.
I am incredibly stupid for not taking today off from work! The weekend was a ton of fun, but so exhausting and it seemed like nothing wanted to fall into place right. The bride really didn't have a great time overall because she was so stressed about several things, and it makes me sad.
I can't remember for sure who asked me to report back. I think Eureka, but am not 100% sure. If you want a dance your ass off and get sweaty to amazing club music kind of night the Gatsby in uptown is a great choice. It started getting packed around midnight and we were all an exhausted, drunk, sweaty mess by the time we got back into the limo at 1:30am.
We ended up getting a table and bottle service because several of the girls wanted somewhere to just chill and hangout. I just cannot get on board with spending $400+ on A SINGLE bottle of liquor even if it comes with a table/booth and personal waitress. We had an entire box of liquor and mixers in the limo and purposely went to dinner 45 min away, so we would have lots of time to play games and get trashed before we got to the club.
I landed in Dallas at 8am Friday morning and landed back in Orlando at 8pm last night and it was nonstop the entire time. We went to sleep around 3am both nights and got up between 6am-8am. I slept like a rock last night, but I am still exhausted.
I wanted to post some pics, but the attachment button isnt working, so I will try again when I get home tonight and if not then just use tapatalk, but they will be huge.
I had a really good conference weekend but now it's back to reality. Being away also helps confirm that if things don't work out with mstbx I'll still have a great, fulfilling life. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by everything I need to get done in the next couple of months, but I'm sure it'll all come together. After three days off from yoga I'm really really looking forward to going this afternoon.
I met my future husband at a party on Friday, so that was good. I've pretty much been gushing ever since. We went out on Saturday and had the best time just talking and laughing and holding hands, regardless of our surroundings. We're so simpatico it's almost scary. Damn it, I'm still gushing!

I had my 6 week post partum check this morning and got cleared to return to all normal activities. I'm going to start teaching cardio kick again a week from this Sunday, I need to really put in some work before then to rebuild my endurance! Hope I can keep up with my own class :/

Wow, 6 weeks already?!? I loved the milk drunk pics your posted on fb.
DDs have their gymnastics showtime tonight. We have to be there by 6:15, which means I will NOT have time to feed them beforehand. I work until 5, then pick them up by 5:20, home to change really quick and we'll need to leave my 5:40 in order to make it on time with traffic. I really need to talk to XH about switching than to a closer facility. I like the one they're at, but it's so far. There is one right near my work (less than 10 minutes from my house) that is probably equal traveling distance for him. But, it's a few dollars more/month and since it's a convenience for me I think he'll say no.
I am feeling a little funky today. The last few weeks, I've had a really hard time with seeing people getting engaged & married. I know, I know - we're all on different timelines etc etc. And I am in a really good relationship right now - but it also feels like it's SO far away or may never happen for me again - I'm being a pessimist and completely illogical. It's just hard sometimes.
I feel this way sometimes too! My good friend just got married. 2 of our friends are getting engaged in the next few months. My sister and our other friend is getting married next summer. I want it to be my turn too!

I don't know what to do!
I'm approved to adopt a dog and the most perfect one ever just came to the organization. He's so sweet and cute! He's a shih tzu and 5.5 years old. I want him so badly. He was fostered in a condo so they'd see how he would do in one and they said he's great.
I just don't know 100% if it's the right time with my job situation so shitty. But he's so perfect and I've wanted a dog forever. I know Id be a great owner. I get first pick so I have to decide soon. I'm gonna meet him on Thursday! I'm afraid I say no because of this and then something comes my way and I'll be so sad. He's exactly what I've been waiting for!

Next time, can you have brown bag meals ready to go so they can eat in the car on the way? Or get wherever they are to feed them or give them time to eat a meal before you pick up?

Yes, I've done this before a few times, but I over a lot and then we have stopped at McDonalds. The good thing is it's only once every 2 weeks.

I have an interview on Wednesday for the job I applied for through my coworker. **all my fingers and toes crossed**
Tomorrow I am playing tourist again and I am looking forward to it. Then I am going to a meeting of professionals in my field and I'm signing up to join the organization they are all a part of! Yay for expanding my network!

Ran to the store real quick for a couple more things, remembered I should get more condoms. They were almost all out! Guess there will be a baby boom in Houston in March...lol!
I have rum, wine, condoms, and food. I'm set. Priorities!
Today was such a fast day at work. I know I got some stuff done, but I'm not at all sure what I really did. Lol. Got some amazing news tonight. The job I interviewed for last week: I got it! I can't even think with how excited I am about everything right now. This really is huge news!
I got stuck in Chicago. Was supposed to be home by now. What an ordeal! I'm in a comfy bed now though and got re-booked in the AM but I have to get up at like 4:30! Ugh I hate air travel. Was hard to find a hotel too because they cancelled 400 flights! Finally did and ended up with a huge suite because it was all I could find. Went to the hotel bar and some drunk guy wouldn't leave me alone and said he was going to follow me outside. They ended up kicking him out. Fun times
