I had cake for breakfast again. It's so good! I smothered it with yogurt to make myself feel better.
It's domestic chores day. Bleah. BUT, first on the list is finding a good breakfast spot for my GTG with motzie tomorrow. She probably thinks I have forgotten about her, but I haven't, I swear!

DS lost his first tooth last night. He couldn't have timed it better, the farm thing feel out at his dad's house, while I was there picking him up. It was nice that we both got to celebrate DS's "tooth upgrade" with him. In a strange twist, xh took the tooth, put it in a sandwich bag, and told me that he was keeping it instead of giving it to the tooth fairy. Ds was so worried about the tooth fairy being upset, he slept with a quarter under his pillow to pay her for the tooth that she didn't get to collect from him. I don't know where he got that idea, but it was very considerate of him. Of course the tooth fairy left him a nice note, let him keep his quarter, and gave him 4 more.

He gave me some strange story about how the Native Americans take their children's teeth when they fall out and make them into a rattle that they can hand down to their children later. I found it kind of creepy, and odd since xh is NOT Native American. But it wasn't worth it to argue. The creepy tooth rattle can stay at his house.

When I was a kid over summer break I found a little plastic container that had my baby teeth in it collected by the tooth fairy. I think my Mom didn't want to throw them away since I was her last kid. I wonder if she still has them. I thought it was weird but my Mom has a whole box of stuff from my brother and I. Our first spoons, and shirts and other misc.

My parents kept our teeth too. I would have liked to put it in his baby book or something, but like I said it was not worth the argument, and a picture will be just as good if not better. It was just odd.
I was child #4 of 5 and my parents were tired when me and my younger sister came around. Mom threw our teeth away, she had no time for sentimental crap. LOL!

I'm number 3 of 5. I'm not sure that my parents kept all of our teeth, but my mom had a little collection of them in her jewelry box.
starrieskies well, we know he's a controlling, manipulative jerkface, so him doing something strange like that doesn't seem all that surprising to me. What a weirdo.
I just got an email that Groupon had One Direction tickets. So I bought two tickets. I already have two tickets from before Christmas. But these are better seats. I'm hoping I can sell the first set easily.
And I just got a presale code for Janet Jackson's tour, so I'll be buying those as well, even though I have no one lined up to go with me.
Oh I'm looking so adorable today. I bought a dress from another stitch fixer off FB and it is so adorable and flattering for my figure. I paired it with hot pink flats and my hot pink glasses FTW.

I'll buy and we'll discuss details at a later date and time!
I'm excited. It's going to be like Christmas today.. if the UPS man actually delivers my stuff. I have a tv mount, garage flooring and drapery for my bedroom coming today.
From Doris Post I want to see what is going on in my area on Groupon.

We're trying to come up with a contingency plan in case the canoe trip is cancelled due to rain. We have to come with something that is kid-friendly but also won't upset the Mormons who will be in attendance (our graduate is mormon). I think we're looking at bowling or dave & busters.

I had to write this date on some paperwork yesterday and I had to think about why the date sounded familiar... it is my XH's birthday. He turned 32 yesterday and he was 22 when we got married. It is amazing how time flies.
