Vampire Diaries 5/10 SPOILERS

I need to watch this episode again! So much happened.

I'm just going to copy my post from the nest over to here, I just realized everyone was over here

I loved the season finale!! I cannot wait until the show comes back!!

I knew Elena would eventually become a vampire so I wasn't too shocked but I was surprised how they did it. I kept thinking, maybe Damon slipped her some blood, but forgot all about Meredith until the end.

The best part about Elena being a vampire is that she will remember all the things Damon compelled her to forget-meeting him first, when he told her he loved her, etc. I cannot wait to see how that pans out. I think it will be good for us Damon/Elena fans!

So, is Tyler dead, or is Klaus just using his body like he did with Alaric? But Klaus's body burned so he has nothing to go back to now, right? This show always keeps me guessing.

I knew Bonnie was going to go evil and I think I love it!

I missed Elijah! I hope he is back for a while!

So now we have another confirmation that Klaus started the whole bloodline of our gang, I'm thinking it is probably true? Now they really can't kill him.

AMAZING! I didn't read the books, so psyched to see how Elena's "super vamp" style plays out! And now they can drag out the Stefan/Damon thing for a while.

I hate summer tv, is it september yet?

Ummmmm, that stuff about Damon has me ridiculously excited right now. I could not handle the emotions in this episode, I literally wanted to scream when it ended. The scene where Damon/Elena first meet made me overly sad, poor Damon.

I wonder how they'll figure out Klaus is in Tyler, that's not generally something one goes looking for. Plus is he planning on disappearing? I assumed that's why he faked Tyler's death, but then I'm sure he's planning some revenge.

I expect we'll see Alaric periodically as a ghost. The way he told Jeremy he'd be watching over him seemed to leave a door open. Poor Alaric.

Ahhhhhhh! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! Its the only show out there that I can say has me truly excited about every week and always surprises me.

Everyone said most of my thoughts.

I'm really curious to see how the Klaus in Tyler's body pans out in regards to Caroline.

I really hope we get some true hot Elena/Damon action now!

I thought Meredith was acting kind of shady when talking to Jeremy, so I wondered if something more was going on.

I'm glad Elena is no longer human. Her constant brushes with death and everyone wanting to kill her was getting old.

I'll be interested to see how the Klaus/Tyler thing plays out. Especially with regards to him and Caroline.

Overall, great episode. Can't wait for September!

Why do I do this to myself! I always read these threads prior to watching. After the Alaric being tied to Elena thing, it seemed like the only reasonable way to get out of it was to turn her. I can't wait to see what she will be like as a vampire. Does this mean we won't see Klaus (in his body) anymore? That's unfortunate.

What an episode! What an ending! I didn't know much about what happened in the books so Elena becoming a vampire was big shocker to me. I never actually thought about if she'd ever get turned. Can't wait for the next season!

I just watched at lunch! I'm really hoping that this new development pushes Damon and Elena together. They have way more chemistry than her and Stefen.

I am also very interested in the Tyler/Klaus thing. But also really Bonnie? Did you just decide I care the least about Tyler so we are gonna go ahead and give his body to Klaus? Rude.

I laughed when they were having that meeting with Elijah in Elena's kitchen and Damon was on speaker phone. When he would cut in with his objections to the deal, he was funny.

When Bonnie did the spell for Ester and had her in Rebecca's body, Rebecca eventually got her body back. Will Tyler get his back or no because Klaus's was burned?

I was laughing at Damon on the phone, too. Loved it!

I was really surprised and confused about the Klaus/Tyler thing. I hope Tyler comes back eventually.

I thought I was undecided on which of the brothers I wanted Elena with, but I realized last night that I'd prefer she be with Stephen. I think this puts me in the minority.

Also, I was sad when Damon was remembering meeting Elena. I want him to be happy, too!

I want to see an Elena/Damon hook up, but I do think Stefan is better for a relationship.

I want Damon to be happy too. I wonder if he will end up with Rebecca.

I full on ugly cried during the scenes with her parents in the river and her and Matt in the river. My uncle passed away that way with his step sons in his truck, he got the boys out but himself was trapped so that was more emotional than it needed to be (for me at least)

and ugh I just want Elena and Damon to get together!!! I love them together!

Didn't Caroline find it odd that she wasn't dying too? Didn't Klaus Sire both her and Tyler?

Nope, Damon's blood turned Caroline and they weren't 100% positive if Klaus turned his line or not.

And it has been picked up for season 4, I cannot wait for fall!!

I was wondering if maybe Bonnie also put a spell on Klaus's body so it appeared to be burning up but is actually okay. I don't want Joseph Morgan to be gone!

Someone on another board brought up something that was interesting. Do you think Elena was wearing Jeremy's ring when she drowned, so she is coming back to life as a human and not as a vampire like they are making it seem?

Just watched tonight- wow, amazing. I just discovered the show last summer and caught up on Netflix so waiting for the new season is going to kiiiiill me. It was so great seeing the dream/flashback scenes.
I've been sad about Alaric's evil vampire slayer side so I'd rather he be gone than be the villain.
I've always wondered if/ when Elena would turn. The last poster has me wondering about the ring too... But mostly I'm inclined t believe she's really a vampire. It had to happen eventually.

The executive producer of the show said Elena is in transition. She was given vampire blood by the doctor before Alaric threw it all out.

I'm so excited for the new season. I'm interested to see how Vamp Elena will be different than her former self. Caroline changed a bit after she was turned. I'm curious as to whose blood Elena was given. Hope it was a new character because Elena will be bonded to that person.

I cried a lot.

I don't think the ring works on Elena. I thought they mentioned that once maybe last season when they were trying to figure out how to save her from Klaus? I think since she's the doppelganger it won't work for her.

I loved the episode. I'm a big Caroline fan, so I'm bummed if Tyler dies (for Caro's sake, of course). I thought something was going on when Bonnie wanted to be alone with Klaus.

And really, Elena? Damon is so much more fun!!! Elena and Stefan are boring to me.

This show is great! I'm glad I finally caught up. I had my first baby in Oct, and I got 4 months behind. DH and I watched them all in the past few months. lol
