Oh my goodness, he is just the sweetest little thing. So peaceful and perfect. You did the right thing, sorry it is so hard. I hope your stay is uneventful and you get home quickly.

Hugs. I've been there. A few weeks ago we had to take DD to the ER for a sudden high fever and it plus her medical history set off sepsis alarms which meant iv, xrays, etc. They started the protocol before we even saw the doc and when he finally came in he took a quick look at her ears and it was a double ear infection! Thankfully they cancelled the rest of the tests but she'd already been poked and prodded I felt awful and powerless. We do the best we can! Hoping everything's OK.
I'm sos sorry you guys are dealing with this. Hugs and good vibes for quick healing. And he is adorable! I, for one, would welcome more pics of such a cutie!

Aw, poor baby.
Did you tell the dr's that your DS1 was sick? My DS2 came down with a 101-102 degree fever at 7 weeks. The only thing that kept him from getting the spinal tap and admitted to the hospital was that we told the pedi that our older kids were sick and DH and I had been sick, so he was reasonably sure that DS2 had the same bug and therefore didn't need the spinal tap. He did get a lung x-ray, blood draw, and antibiotics shots, and we had to bring him to the pedi daily for about a week to be checked, but it kept us out of a week-long hospital stay.
